Hello all,

Found this site as I was searching for things to do on our honeymoon in August. We will be staying at the Boardwalk Villa's (a DVC member gave us as a gift) - any comments or must do's there?

Also my wife-to-be is not big on roller coaster's and rides like that - gets sick :-( so I figure we would spend allot of time at Epcot, MGM and Pleasure Island - anyone suggest anything else we could do?

Can anyone suggest shows, restaurants or other places/things to do? Also, does anyone know if the Boardwalk has views of any of the fireworks - we saw fireworks on our first date and I was hoping we could relive that.

Narcoossee's has been recommended to me as a romantic restaurant--I haven't eaten there yet, but it's supposed to be excellent seafood. It's at the GF, and I believe you can see Wishes if you're there.

Our favorite romantic restaurant is Artist Point in WL. It's wonderful! You may want to check the restaurants board for other suggestions. As for other romantic things to do, walk around the world showcase, do a carriage ride at POR/POFQ, go to a luau at the Poly. HTH :)

POR/POFQ? where/what si that? Dinner and a relaxing carrage ride the first night sounds good!

Def. going to do the luau!

Best place to eat is Victoria and Albert’s (its not cheap) but they make you feel like royalty. Your menu has your name engraved on it and every lady gets a rose at the end of dinner (the wine pairing is out of this world)...If your looking for something more reasonable the restaurant in the Castle is the way to go...make sure you ask for the window seat and tell them its your honeymoon, nothing better then Cinderella herself wishing you well….

Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter are two resorts located near Downtown Disney. You can go on a carriage ride that takes you through the two resorts.

Yes that is where we ate the night Dan propsed to me...it waqs so romantic and a view of the castle. If seafood is not your thing I say California grill is the way to go. We are doing Victoria and Alberts as our first dinner as man and wife but as someone mentioned it is not cheap. There is also a couples massage at the GF spa  again not cheap :rotfl:

I would also recommend the Cirque de Soliel show...it was amazing!

OK, Booked horseback riding out of the Wilderness lodge, a 1 hour carriage ride at Port orleans - Riverside and am about to book a luau at the Poly. Also I ordered a basket to be waitting in our room the night we get there. We wont get to our room until late (midnight) so I ordered a basket with wine, mickey and mini glasses, cheese and crakers - firgure we can bring the glasses on the carriage ride as well.

Anythign else anyone can think of?

yeah you can call my husband and tell him this is all stuff he should be doing!! j/k I am the planner. We are going to view wished from the California Grill- they have window tables that have an excellent view of the fireworks, (so I've been told) also mention it's your Honeymoon. The specialty cruises are nice too- but expensive about $250. THey take you out to view the fireworks, but make sure you specify the time and everything. The $250 buys the whole boat, so you would be alone , (unless you wanted to invite others to join you, there is a thread just for people trying to coordinate specialty cruises) you can also order roomservice from the nearest hotel and dine on the boat. It would be spectacular. THats what I really want to do on our honeymoon. Have fun! and congratulations!
