WDW high this week

Just finished planning surprise trip in July to BCV and VWL for my teens and 3yr old this July. Today I got CRT reservations to along with the Princess bkft, an Illumination boat ride and California Grille ressies. So that trip is looking good.

I'm simultaneously booking our '04 trip for next Easter and have scored Std 2BR unit at BWV for 6 of the 7 days I need. I'll be able to finish the ressie on Monday. Yippee. This is the first time I've been able to use the 11th month booking window. And until this week I didn't know the trick that you can do one day at a time rather than wait to make the reservation on your departure date.

I've already got notes in my palm for when I have to call at the 6 mo mark for V&A's chef table, 120 days for Illuminations and 60 days for the meal ressies.

I've never been so organized. And it's all because we bought new BW and BVC points. I'm so happy we made the decision to go ahead. It was absolutely the right thing to do for our family.

We are on a WDW/DVC high, too! Booked PS ressies at Artist Point for July 4th, when we'll take my Mom just for the overninght (staying with her in her home for 2 weeks).

More exciting, we just worked out exactly how to do our BCV add-on, so we are all set to call our guide on June 1 so we can do magical beginings with a June use year. Yippee!!!

Congratulations & welcome home, mmmcq! At first I thought you had done add-ons, but on re-reading your post, it appears that you are now a new DVC member - is that right? Either way, good for you!

Both new and old member! We had a decent number of points at BWV, but not enough to get a 2BR for a week. Now that I have two teens....that's a priority. So we more than doubled our points - closing in two weeks. And we have two homes now. We wanted to be near SAB because of my 3 year old. We did magical beginnings and put through some cash in....so the payment is low and doesn't hurt too much! But even without this year's points I was able to get in a trip for July and book next year's. I'm soooooo happy we took the plunge.

You scared me to death!!!
You said that you were going to reserve the illuminations cruise 120 days out. I have been waiting for the 90 day mark to reserve one for my proposal in September, and I am just past the 120 day mark. So I called and it is still 90 days PHEW...I had a mini heart attack there

I didn't mean to scare you! I am working on two trips simultaneously and have put so many "notes" into my palm pilot for future scheduling for next year's April vacation trip....that I don't know which one is which. Some of my favorite restaurants are at 120 days....
