I was at the local borders and found 2 books which may have to make the yearly trek to WDW with me this year. They are Passporters Treasure Hunts and Hidden Mickeys by the Intrepid Traveler. I know these won't be the most up to date in years to come but I would like to have the most up to date for this trip anyway, especially at $12 a book. Both were updated in May 2005, I am going in October 2006. Should I buy them now and have a good chance to read them before going or should I wait for a 3rd edition which may or may not be out by then?

Also speaking of books, I did buy 2 today they are titled Imagineer's guide to the Magic Kingdom and Imagineer's guide to Epcot. There aren't any out for MGM or AK but maybe soon, they look really good. :teeth:

Buy them now if you like the books, it is only 4 months before your trip and if a new edition came out there probably would not be too much new info in them anyway.
Have you tried amazon.com to buy a used book? I have bought lots of books through them and even the 'used' ones I have gotten look new and I save lots of $$.

I also just bought the Hidden Mickey book.... Sometimes I buy them later as they come out, but I still get them...

The Imagineers guides are awesome. I just started reading the EPCOT one (about 1/4 finished). I like them, although I would love to see big versions of these with bigger pictures...
