I Love the fact that WDW is bringing back some classics! The Main Street Electrical Parade, Captain EO. Now if we can just get rid of Sonny Eclipse we can make room for the triumphant return of ......wait for it...........Michael Iceberg and the Iceberg Machine! Not probable but I would be down there as fast as my minivan could get me there! :goodvibes Let's tack on some Dreamfinder while we're at it!

What else would you like to see brought back...even if it were for a limited time? Just curious!

The Mickey Mouse Review

The old, stark, white, Tomorrowland with the fountain tower on each side of the walkway.

The Apple Cobbler sold going over the bridge into Liberty Square.

The "non-homogenized" shopping experience where you could only buy Tomorrowland gifts in Tomorrowland etc.

I'll think of more......

The Florida Orange Bird!!!

I have an Orange Bird bank from my first trip in 1971.

Going retro is fine with me... only one thing... I wouldn't like to go retro... the CAKE CASTLE (for the anniversary)... gosh that was horrible...:rotfl2: P.s. I'd love Mr. Toad's wild ride back! I miss that ride so much!

The Main Street Magic Shop

The Main Street Penny Arcade

Full Service Lunch at Aunt Polly's on TSI

Clam chowder in bread bowls in LS....

The Old Kitchen Shop in LS that had *fabulous* kitchen supplies and dishes

River Country

The Old Luau at The Poly that was held outside on the "beach". (That one goes WAAAAY back :rotfl: )

The Mickey Mouse Review was my favorite when I was young. My heart was broken when they moved it to Tokyo.:sad2::sad2:

I would also add

Original Journey into Imagination

And I also miss the toperies that were scattered around the property. Now the only time I get to see them is during Flower and Garden.

Horizons.

I also would vote for non-homogenized" dining experiences.
I'm tired of the Cheeseburger, cucumber-melon salad, pasta dish menu.

I kinda miss If you had Wings but Buzz is better.:thumbsup2

I do miss the non-noisy communicore.

And the Steel drum players at Adventureland. I haven't seen them in years so either they are gone or I have bad timing.

If we're going whole hog on bringing back things:

Attractions I wish I had done at least but didn't/couldn't - not a complete list, but I know I would have liked them:

Timekeeper
World Of Motion
20k Leagues
If You Had Wings
Original Figment
Mr. Toad

Attractions I'd like to see again:

Horizons (even though I got stuck in the dome theater for 20 minutes  )
Anything in Wonders Of Life

Heck No! Sonny Eclipse stays! I can't really contribute because my first trim was in 9/2007. But just had to comment on that.

Oh, Oh... Let's not forget the Mike Fink Keel Boats, SkyWay, or the Sunday Brunch they used to have at "Top of the World" at the Contemporary. I also liked the Fisherman's Deck at the Empress Lilly!

I loved the old informational program they used to have on their in resort TV-Channel 5! The host was Susan! That was just before Space Mountain opened! I like Stacey who is doing it now though!

2 words - Swan Boats!

NO, we loved the cake castle!!! See my avatar. It was this way for my daughter's 1st Disney trip. I believe it was also the first time the castle was decorated.

This looks like it should be in the center of a theme park called "The Big Rock Candy Mountain".

It is kinda cool, but I do not see Cinderella Castle at all!

It was the 25th anniversary of Disney World and this was the cake.

What is sad is this was the last time I saw the castle from the time I moved from Florida until 2007. OMG, I think I have to find the pictures, although I might not wanna share the pics of me circa 1997 :rotfl:

I would have to say 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the Skyway are biggies. I also liked how The Disney Marketplace used to be before it was Downtown Disney. I remember it was very quaint and relaxed, and Chef Mickey's used to be there.

And I have to agree, the cake castle is atrocious. It looks more like Marie Antoinette's castle to me for some reason.

Monte Cristo Sandwiches at Columbia Harbor House
The great kitchen stuff they used to have in Liberty Square
CBJ merchandise -- I want a great big stuffed Big Al!
The Town Square Cafe -- I used to get cherry danishes for breakfast as big as my head! (Of course, I was about 3 at the time.)
I would whole-heartedly endorse the Orange Bird, if I hadn't realized recently that the Anita Bryant who sang that song way back when is the same :mad:Anita Bryant :mad:that I now want to punch every time she opens her mouth. (I'm generally not prone to violence, but there's just no reasoning with some people...) It just puts a tarnish on it, for me personally.

DisneyKevin: The "non-homogenized" shopping experience where you could only buy Tomorrowland gifts in Tomorrowland etc.

Totally agree with that Kevin. I'd like to have Walter Cronkite's voice back on Spaceship Earth. I really miss 20,000 Leagues too.

I miss the character roaming around freely, like when I was a kid. I understand the need, but I do not like the fact that most character interactions are in a queue-based system.

Zip a dee doo da -tip of the day! on Disney TV
