WDW for three weeks suggestions?

Thanks for the ideas! We will be staying off site and I'm wondering if we can park at a hotel and ride monorail/skyliner and then eat at a hotel or is that still not allowed?
If you have an ADR at a resort, you can park there - the often quoted (but not necessarily written) time limit is 3 hours. If you don’t have an ADR at a resort, it’s preferred that you park at TTC to ride the monorail or at DHS for the Skyliner.

There have been reports that the guard at the gate will not let cars into a Disney hotel parking lot unless the people in the car either are staying at that hotel or have a dining reservation. They are trying to prevent people from parking at the hotel and then walking over to a theme park. This has been particularly true at the Contemporary and Grand Floridian, but can happen at any Disney hotel.

If you arrive by Disney transportation, you should not have a problem.

As PP mentioned, you can park at Transportation and Ticket Center or at the Disney's Hollywood Studios parking lot, but if you are not staying at a Disney hotel I believe you will have to pay to park there.

They were fairly strict with parking in December - I was asked at every resort I drove to if I had a reservation for dining or a room. I would suggest parking at Disney Springs.

um, what are you planning to do for food without a car? 3 weeks is a LONG time to be eating only Disney food! I would find some way to do a few grocery store runs to have some balance in your meals....

I know RIV is very strict. Even checking in the other day, the guard wanted my ID and room number since I had it…verified everything.

So, without something like an ADR, parking there is tough.

I wouldn't stay at Disney for 3 weeks if not planning to do any parks. How did you decide to vacation there and did you consider anywhere else? You will be paying a lot more $$$ for the convenience of nearby Disney parks you won't be using. Not sure how you will get around to shop/sightsee or go out for meals without a car. If looking for someplace warm this time of year, there are lots of others choices and perhaps staying near the ocean could be a possibility. Many beach locations cater to vacationers and you can walk to some of the restaurants, but I would still suggest a car if going to be there that long.

Can I just say, saw your thread title and I’m feeling a little (a lot) jealous! Sending a raspberry your way! Enjoy your trip😛
