Thank you both! You have solved a mystery that has been bugging me for 4 years! Now, if only someone could point my husband to that beloved buffalo chicken.

Caribbean Beach Resort's food court has one that my husband looks forward to every year.

This thread backs up one I posted elsewhere (Is Disney Dying or something like that). There USED to be good, unique food at Disney - as wll as some standard park stuff that at least was fresh & fun. Now it's all prepackaged, reheated stuff at the vast majority of restaurants and none of it worth what they charge. It has changed and for the worse.

This thread covers food that disappeared not only in the last few years but some things that have been gone for decades!

Macadamia Nut Torte - Kona
Vegetarian Burger from some place in the MK, Frontierland, maybe. It was just on the other side of the moat from the castle.
Papeete Bay Verandah (Ohana now)
King Stefans Banquet Hall (now CRT)

And I've always thought is was a real shame that Pirates at WDW doesn't have a Blue Bayou Restaurant overlooking the ride. The Monte Cristo my daughter had there when she was 5 years old on a trip to DisneyLand still ranks as one of her favourite Disney foods ever.

Disney is not dying.

And it doesn't ask about new favorites that have been added in the same timeframe. You can't point to a thread that specifically asks only for complaints as painting a total picture.

Me too! Was a childhood favorite and I always try the newer one and am ALWAYS dissapointed. Last visit I switched to the pineapple swirl and it was good, but I still miss that orange swirl!

I am probably the only one on the board to say this, but we really enjoyed the Cuban sandwich at ABC Commissary. We had one in 2005 and were so sad when it was gone on our next trip.

Does anyone remember the foot long hot dogs in Epcot? they were thin, not like the ones they serve today... I remember eating them as a kid. I think right outside the United States, on a cart.

Nope--not the only one. It was what made ABC tolerable to me.

And I really miss Captain's Tavern (the old TS at CBR). I had the BEST jerk chicken there! It was fabulous!

I miss the spaghetti and meatballs at Hollywood and Vine from when it was a cafeteria service years ago. My then toddler son (he is now 20), loved that dish and we enjoyed how cute he was eating it.

There use to be an Italian buffet in the Contempory Resort where Chef Mickey is now. It was great!!!!!
