WDW Direct to Room Check-in Process - How Do You Get Parking Pass

I was planning on using direct to room check in but I am planning to be at a park at rope drop. How does the resort hotel provide you parking pass when using direct to room check in?

They don't use parking passes. You will use your magic band. They note that you have a car when you arrive at the guard shack.

You have to go to the lane with the guard. I think you had to do that anyway on your first time into the resort, magic band or not.

Oops, you're right. I got distracted by the other resort parking talk. In that case, tell the attendant you're checking in that day, show them MDE or your reservation. I'm sure the resort guest services can refund the charge, too, if they're unable to verify resort guest status at the park.
