WDW-DINE Phone Confusion

I've just tried the WDW-DINE number to make a PS.

When the recording says "enter your 10-digit phone no. and the pound(????)" it doesn't accept our number. I suppose the 10-digits are US ones, not UK ones beginning with 0, but what is the "pound" or whatever she's saying.

I tried entering # after the number but no good.

Any tips for getting through? We never had this probelm before.

Just drop the 0 off your phone number so 01392 123123 is 1392 123123

You are absolutely right that the "pound" is the # sign

If it doesn't work, just stay on the line and you will be put through eventually anyway!

I just ignored them when they asked for the number and still got through.

I didn't hold on before as I didn't know there was an option.
