This is based on a 7 night cruise, which most of these are, but since on the WDW excursion day I'm sure most people will be at WDW at dinner time, do they do the rotation on a 6 night schedule? That would seem to make sense and also works out perfect that you get each twice.

As far as I know, the WDW day/night is open dining. That means, if you're onboard for dinner, you can eat at whatever dining room(s) is/are open or Cabanas.

I looked at a Navigator from last October and Cabanas & Carioca's had buffet for dinner. Cabanas 9:00 to 12:30 am and Carioca's 6:00-9:00pm. And Lumiere's had ala carte (not sure what menu) from 6:00-9:00pm.

Ok great, so that would seem to imply that you get a 6 rotation and it comes out even.

Our cruise has the WDW day on Thanksgiving.... Not sure what they will do that day? I assumed that there would be regular dining rotations with all MDRs serving the Thanksgiving menu, but maybe this is wrong since you're saying that they don't have the normal dinners on this night?

Well, they didn't last year, anyway. What they'll do this year..... who knows? Until the cruises begin we won't know.
