Very sad. The CM's work so hard to provide a happy vacation for the guests, that it hits extra hard anytime a tragedy such as this happens.

We were just at MK last Saturday. We took the ferry from the TTC. On the ferry, Pluto paid special attention to our DD and our DS, who is afraid of characters. It was a very special moment for us. I don't know if it is possible that this could be the same person, but we're are deeply saddened by this tragic loss. God bless his loved ones.

The news reports says the Cast Members name was Javier Cruz, age 38. He had worked for Disney for 8 years. He was costumed as Pluto when the accident occurred. No word about children or family. He certainly must have been a special guy.

Javier had 2 children (they lived with their mom, but locally) he was an amazing person that could light up any room that he walked into. He was always there to lend a hand, shoulder or an ear.
