WDW called me tonite about EE

I skipped going to Disney this year because of two reasons, not ready to fly yet and believe it or not, no EE days. If the price of passes or hotel costs had gone down, I might have considered it but I wasn't going to pay the same and get less. We normally go July 4th week and EE is a lifesaver for us that week. I had two trips planned and cancelled both of them.

Anyway I wrote Disney an email without complaining or yelling but just being honest. I received a reply the same day (sort of an email form letter). Then a few days later I received a more personal email response. And then tonite, I get a phone call from Disney from a very nice person who just wanted to talk about EE and wanted more feedback from me. She said to keep the emails coming about EE because Disney is open to the idea.

Not sure if she was saying everything I wanted to hear or not, but I was impressed with the feedback.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is EE? I am very disapointed about no more e-nights. Is this the same thing?

EE is Early Entry.

They're early entry days. They canceled them last year I think. It was when certain parks open early on certain days and it was only open early for resort guests. I kinda miss it too, but not because I'd go on EE days. We'd always go somewhere else and all the crowds were usually at the EE park. I miss it too

I was upset when they eliminated EE, but not after we went during Christmas week last year and I found out that it really was not needed. I was shocked.

Can this get bumped over to the Theme PArks boards? Alot of people are SSSSSOOOOO unhappy about no EE days, and the taking away of many E-Nights that they probabally would like to see that soimetimes someone listens.

I was disappointed, as well... especially for the EE at MK, but after having gone twice since they eliminated them, I can't say that they were overly missed. We went last winter, and again 2 weeks ago, and were able to everything with no trouble at all. Since this is the case, I don't feel that EE mornings are necessary, and that they are a waste of manpower and money that could be put into other necessary things, such as security, refurbing the rides, and perhaps even offering new attractions.

I'm not surprised that they chose to corraspond with you about your thoughts on EE. You have always had a great way of expressing your thoughts on the CB. I'm glad they are concerned with the way people think and feel about EE. It is nice to know they care even if they change nothing.
