? WDW Bus Transportation Schedule ?

I have PS for Chef Mickeys on Monday 6/24th at 11:30 a.m. We are staying offsite and planning to shop at Downtown Disney that day and traveling over to Chef Mickeys for our character meal. After eating we plan to return to Downtown Disney for more shopping, while my husband and son visit DisneyQuest.

My question... Does bus transportation leave from Downtown Disney to the Contemporary Resort? If so, what time - will we have enough time to get their by 10:45 or 11:00 a.m.? I feel that it would be more convenient for us to shop, hop on a bus to go eat, and return on the bus back to Downtown Disney.

The busses run regularly from DTD to the CR. If you want to get to the CR by 11:00am, I'd plan on getting to the bus stop between 10:15 and 10:30. It takes about 15 minutes to the CR. But you could have to wait up to 20 minutes for a bus to show up to get you there. Also the bus might stop at another resort before getting to the CR.

I think that most of the stores at DTD don't open until 11 AM. At least that is what happened when we were there at Easter time. You probably won't have time to do any shopping before you have to head to Chef Mickey's if you have a 11:30PS. There may not be many buses leaving from DTD until later even. Not sure when the first buses start arriving there.
