Hey Everyone!

My husband and I are going to WDW in SEVEN DAYS!!!! :cool1: Im so excited! We got married there last year and are going back for our 1st anniversary. Anyways, I was watching a Disney special on the... Travel Channel I believe.... but they went behind the scenes and showed how things worked. I thought that would be super interesting to see in person. I found that they acctually DO have many different ones to choose from.

The "Keys to the Magic Kingdom" is the one the one that looks super cool to me! $65 for 4-5 hours (Lunch Included) doesn't seem that bad to me. Plus you must be 16 years old to go, so I'm assuming it is adult oriented.

I was just wondering if anyone has been on any of these or heard about them. If so, were they worth the money, packed with people... ect? Any input would help! Thanks in advanced!!!

HI - I've done Keys to the Kingdom (nov 2005) and also the Backstage Magic one (july 2006).
I think we only had maybe 20 for the keys to the kingdom tour, and more like 35 for back stage magic.

Personally, I really liked the keys to the kingdom tour. You learn all about the magic kingdom, walt, go behind the scenes at a few rides and down into the utilidoors. A lot of history tidbits and explanations of why things are built the way they are etc.

The Backstage Magic tour covers epcot, hollywood studios plus the mk. It was good, but given the choice I would do keys to the kingdom again before this one. It probably didnt help that it was pouring rain that day so running in and out of buildings and to the bus was pretty crappy.
I did enjoy seeing the floral shop, costume shop and the christmas warehouse - all very cool. It was more geared to how they put on the "show" of Disney. Where as Keys was more about the history (and a little about the show).

Hope that helps!

We did "Keys" in August and it was great. Very informative and if you have a question just ask it and they will typically get you an answer. It is very interesting when you realize how short the trip is for the Castmembers to go from one side of the park to the other when using back areas and the Utilidors. My wife and I both loved it!:tinker:

I'm so upset. :sad1: I tried to get tickets yesterday for the Magic Kingdom tour and they are sold out everyday we will be there. I am going to try calling a couple more times to see if there are any cancellations.

I wish I would've known about the tours sooner. Its funny, out of the Disney Vacation books that Ive read and looked at none of them really mention the 'behind the scenes' tours. Are they advertised in many places?

Thanks for the info though! For our next trip, I know to check dates sooner!

ONLY SIX MORE DAYS! :yay:

Hi, try the Animal Kingdom tour...we have done them all and AK is really fun...good luck...Ted
