And for those wondering about Walt Disney World Annual Passes, new pass sales will become available in time for the start of the 50th anniversary celebration! Walt Disney World Resort will be sharing additional information and details later this month, so be sure to stay tuned to DisneyWorld.com and the Disney Parks Blog. Taken from Disney Parks Blog.

I went ahead and bought my "recovery" Gold AP, but haven't activated it yet. We'll see if that was a smart call :)

We did the same.
I was surprised as I didn't think the prices for APs for Disneyland were as high as I expected.
Will be interesting to see what WDW does for pricing. Most likely will be glad I already renewed.

I’m curious about what it’ll mean for people who currently hold annual passes, if they’re any different from what they were before

I don't think pricing for the highest tier at Disneyland is too bad. Seems similar to what I remember paying for my platinum pass a few years back.
It's definitely closer to "pre-pandemic" pricing than I was expecting. The blackout date calendars leave something to be desired, but it's not the bloodbath I was expecting. Pete told me to "gird my loins" ;)

This hopefully means some version of fastpass is also right around the corner. It was rumored that the systems were integrated together on the same platform. Fingers crossed

This is interesting: **The number of theme park reservations that may be held at a time during a specific booking window is dependent on pass type and is subject to availability and other rules and restrictions, including excessive “no-show” rules.

Wait - so WDW will have a magic key? Or traditional APs? Any specific details yet???

What is buried at the end?

I have tickets for my trips in Sept and Dec. Can I convert those into an annual pass? Could I call or do you have to do that in person at the parks?
The tickets in Sept are just for two days, no resort, but for Dec it’s a package of hotel and tickets. Can I change it to a room only reservation?

Y'all are assuming it will be business as usual, huh? My oh my. In the immortal words of "Ash"....you have my sympathies.
