WDW and DL in one day!

Hi all,

I just returned from WDW yesterday, and finished off my great vacation with a little personal history. When we originally booked our flight back to Los Angeles and saw we would return at 9pm, I had one thought-do both parks in one day.

I know others have done it, so I figured I would take advantage of my opportunity. Knowing it was the busiest time of the year, I decided to pick a ride that was big, but not Space Mountain because I knew that it would be possible to fail. We chose Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion, and the Railroads.

My son and I got to MK near rope drop on Thursday, rode our rides, got some FPs, receipts, and buttons as evidence and headed back to the hotel. We flew back through San Antonio and were delayed an hour.

We arrived at LAX at 9:15, got our bags and car, dropped off my father-in-law who picked us up, and drove straight to DL. We got to the front gates at 11:00 and had 1 hour to finish the job. It was close, but we did it!

I now have something to reply to those "What is something interesting about you?" questions.

I will be doing a blog very soon about it with pics and evidence.

This is exactly what I was thinking! To pull this off at the busiest time of the year is certainly an accomplishment.
