I've been regretting that we won't be at WDW on October 1st (we arrive 10/9) for the 40th celebration. After seeing some photos the past celebrations on the Disney Parks blog

I'm not surprised there hasn't been a lot of ads regarding the 40th anniversary, Disney never releases much information ahead of time.

Here's two press releases about the 40th WDW anniversary. They are interesting but don't give any hints about a celebration.

I'm definitely thinking we will be going for the 50th.

not at all how i recall it for the 25thlots of advance notice and disney celebrations tend to run for a year or more so everybody gets a chance to see the new X (parade, castle bling, etc.)

We generally visit the 1st week in October or Dec, will pencil 10/1 in for 2021 as there is no way they can ignore that milestone!

We certainly want to be there at BLT in an MK view room. Just have to see how many people are coming along!
