Hi Sarah,
Thanks for coming over! :thumbsup2 I know, not long to go - I'm soooo excited!!!!!:hyper:
Hope you enjoy reading!

What some exciting shopping adventures! Glad to hear you'll be getting your bag--I hope you post some pics once you get it!

Your DD is adorable in her skating outfit. That's great that she's found something that helps with the shyness!

I love your PTR--keep it coming! :cool1:

I understand your luggage frustration. On past trips when flying, I didn't really buy much because I was always worried about what would fit in my suitcase.

But not this time. :cool1: Since we are driving, I am already thinking about all the breakables I can buy without having to worry about luggage getting tossed around by the airline.

Plus we are going to take a trip to the mousesurplus warehouse. Mousesurplus is a company that buys Disney's surplus of stuff and basically anything Disney wants to get rid of due to renovations, etc. They sell on ebay but they also have a warehouse open a couple days a week. I heard it can be a hit or miss type of place but we are very excited to see what it is like.

Just found your PTR when I saw you had posted on another TR. I just sat here and read the whole thing. I think my DH is going to kill me if I don't get some work done around my house.

Really enjoyed this so far. What are your dates, I thought I saw Sept 15 for your arrival date? We will be there Sept 26-28.

The arrival on the one trip where you tried to break into the wrong room was hilarious.:lmao:

Looking forward to more and also your TR.

That must make it so much easier - though i would be tempted to have a mini van and fill it all with my Disney buys!! :rotfl:

Hi there,
Thanks for coming over! Glad you're enjoying it :thumbsup2
I have to agree, my housework is definately suffering since i discovered DIS. Though I manged to tidy up the kitchen tonight - although that was only because the computer was playing up and i couldn't use! ;)
We go 15 Sep and get back early hours 30 Sep, so we overlap you! :woohoo: Am trying to remember faces so if I see anyone I can say "Hello". Will check out your PTR!
Hopefully we won't try and break and enter this time - I'll be double checking our room numbers with the CM before I try the door! :scared1:

Keep posting

I'm glad your daughter enjoys ice skating so much!
She looks adorable in her outfit.

Too funny that you drove around Fla looking for ice skates.
I grew up in Miami, and the nearest ice rink I knew of was over an hour away in Ft. Lauderdale. My Mom refused to drive me there. :headache:
I think there are more ice rinks in Fl now.
The first time I ice skated I was in college. It did not go well. It was also the last time.
I am always in awe to see my daughter skate. She loves it, which is good, as she went through a few things before finding this. She is still in the basic levels, but wants to continue. Tennis was definately NOT for her. :sad2: but she also loves swimming. She is a nice relaxed swimmer with great form, but is not interested in speed.

Great idea to have the bag shipped! Hope it works out!

We're quite lucky here in Scotland, ice skating is popular over here. I used to go to the ice disco every weekend with my friends from school at our local ice rink. :dance3: Some of the rinks have closed now, but generally you're never too far from one :)
DD seems to really enjoy it, they both go swimming which they both really enjoy. She has Brownies, he has cubs. DS has also just started rugby and wants to go back to football. DD used to go dancing, but was getting quite bored with it, I don't think the world has lost a budding prima ballerina! - much prefers skating! :thumbsup2
Hopefully I'll get my bag OK, I've wanted one like it for ages!

Just waiting for the tickets to arrive now - hopefully any day now! I always get slightly nervous when we get down to the last couple of weeks waiting for them to arrive. I'd much prefer if travel companies posted them out a lot earlier! ;)
I read on another thread that someone was on ToT with Dylan and Cole Sprouse (Zack and Cody from Suite Life). DS favourite show! I told him and he was like "Wow, will we see them too!" I think he thought they were part of the theme park attractions! :lmao:
Also heard a rumour Johnny Depp was due to be there. :worship: I'll keep my fingers crossed for Matt Damon :cloud9:

Just a waiting game now - will be onto single digits next week :woohoo: Will have to let the kids school know soon!
they seem to be enjoying being back at school, their new teacher seems very nice. Although DS has scuffed his new shoes already - first day wearing them! :sad2:

Here they are - first day in Primary 4! Note DD's WDW keyring and HSM school bag. You can't see but DS's bag is POTC! They never stood a chance - they've been brainwashed by us since babies to be Disney fanatics!

I just keep looking at the WDW gift shop threads :scared1: So much stuff I want - so little baggage allowance - so little money! :lmao:

Oh my goodness!!! My two youngest kids would freak out if Dylan and Cole Sprouse were at WDW and they got to see them! They LOVE that show. So do I actually:laughing: They got me hooked ;) Our fave show is the Ghost In Suite 613, we've had it saved on our DVR box for a few months now:laughing: Can't wait for the new series to start next month! The Suite Life At Sea!

I hope your tickets hurry and arrive! I'm sure they'll be here any day :) Don't worry yet.

I can't believe you're almost in the single digits!!!!!! Oh how exciting!!!!!!!!

As for the gifts, just buy as many as you can:laughing:

Love the pictures of the kids all ready for school. They are so cute! Are they enjoying it so far

Cute "back to school" pictures!

DH and I get carried away shopping as well sometimes. Is it possible for you to send packages back home? I would imagine that it would be costly though.

Oooo - cute pictures! Your son looks a little bit like Prince Harry when he was little. Thanks for sharing!

I'm so excited for you to almost be in Single Digits!! :dance3:

Beautiful pictures of your children! Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

Hi Amy,
I've got my shopping list already - don't worry ;) We're also planning on buying the kids Nintendo DS's whilst we're there - shh, don't tell them :thumbsup2 I posted another thread asking if Virgin stocked them at DTD, and some kind DISer said WallMart stock them a bit cheaper too! :cool1:
As DH reminded me - I'm not quite in single digits yet - another 8 days to go. Near enough for me! :rolleyes1
I love Suite Life too, not seen the ghost one yet, will need to keep an eye out for it!
The kids are enjoying school - their teacher seems nice from what they say. :goodvibes
I'm trying to remain calm about the tickets - they always arrive about 10 days before, but I just worry about my WDW holiday! :cloud9:

Keep posting!

I can't wait! :hyper: Today I've been looking at the 'food porn' thread - my mouth is watering! I even have a list of all the snacks I want to get....Dole Whip...ice cream cookie sandwich....fresh crepe.....

Glad that your kids are enjoying school so far!

Cute pics!

Thanks, I think they're lovely, but then I'm biased!

I dread to think what it would cost to ship to the UK - I'll just need to practise restraint! Though I did see the mini Cindys Castle 'light up' for Christmas :rolleyes1

We spent most of yesterday at our frineds Michael and Susan's house. It was their daughter's birthday party and then we went back to theirs for dinner (indian takeaway - my favourite!).
Whilst we were there, the conversation - as usual turned to WDW.
Michael always likes to remind me of my more 'blonde' moments, shall we say. :rolleyes1

Yesterday he recalled probably my worst :scared1:

I like to think of myself as a reasonably intelligent person - I did well at school, am a registered nurse and midwife and do well at work. But sometimes I tend to say what I'm thinking before thinking it through properly (verbal diarrhoea as DH calls it) :headache: Generally only with friends I hasten to add - I don't do it at work, thankfully! I don't think.......?

Well, on our very first trip to Orlando in 1999, it was just after Hurricane/Tropical Storm Flloyd. DH and I were walking down I Drive and we walked past Wonder Works (the upside down building). I said "Wow, the winds must have been really strong to cause that damage!" :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:  :rotfl: :lmao:

The shame....the shame....the shame.....I'm blushing now thinking about it!
I knew it was built like that (really :rolleyes1 ), it just came out!

Of course, cue hysterical laughter from DH :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: Who immediately had to tell Michael and Susan (who were also in Orlando).

And yes, I am a natural blonde (some high lights), but that was definately my WORST moment!!!!

It took a long time to live that one down! :sad2:

Anyway - only 2 weeks 1 day to go!!!!! :cheer2:
