How long does a dinner normally take at WCC?

We are booked in for 5pm and have to be at Yatch club marina for 8pm for illuminations cruise. We are planning on taking a taxi from WL to YC, do we have time without rushing dinner?

If you are seated on time, you should be fine. We were there in September and took about an hour to an hour and a half to get through dinner and dessert.

It depends on what time of the year & week you will be dining.
As with all WDW restaurants, if you are going during a heavily traveled period--say Thanksgiving or Christmas etc--you may have to wait.
If it's on a Friday or Saturday, also figure in a wait.
also, if there is 'free' dining during yr vacay, the eateries tend to be crowded, especially at a popular time as 5 pm for dinner.

Will you have yr own car? You need to figure in transportion time.
If you're me, you'll stroll up just as yr bus pulls away from the curb!
Then you'll need to figure in another 20 minutes.
