We have an ADR at WCC for our sept trip, however, I was just look at the menu at allears and it has changed! I was looking forward to the nachos and NY strip steak but neither are on the menu anymore. It just seemed like a very limited slection of food besides the skillet (which i dont think i will care for). They did not even have the bottomless milkshakes listed. Anyone know what going on? I would love to see some reviews within the last month.

I noticed the pork chop dinner I had in February is no longer listed.

Thank goodness the S'mores cheesecake is still there, otherwise I might have to change my ADR! :)

I wonder if this has anything do to with the new "healthy" menus. They have also removed the sausage from the skillet and replaced it with peel and eat shrimp:headache:

The bottomless shakes haven't been on the dinner and lunch menu for awhile - I noticed this in a panic back in April when I made our ADRs - but a server from WCC posts here and she assured that not only are shakes still available but they have a new machine and could be expanding their flavor choices.

I did notice that the entree choices have shrunk quite a bit since the last time we ate there in 12/05. :-( This was my oldest DS's choice though so we've gotta go.

Can anyone please tell me if they've taken the sausage off of the lunch skillet as well? I really hope so but would like to know in advance. I'd actually prefer the shrimp.

and yes, the sausage is gone, my DH was very disappointed.
My son and I were disappointed also because we went there to get the nachos. BY THE WAY, the bottomless shakes do still exist...:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

My husband and DS both had the skillet (they didn't eat the shrimp - only because we just had shrimp the night before at Cape May)....they were both pleased with the skillet. I had the pasta dinner, it was very good.
Only reason I only wanted to order the nachos is because I wanted the wonderful banana dessert - well, a group of us shared it anyway.

Any more questions?

I'm glad to hear that! Are the shakes available as a beverage on DDP, or is that asking for too much? :)

My DH and DS will miss the sausage in the skillet, but they both like shrimp, too. Is the shrimp hot or cold?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info! Did you notice if there was still a NY strip on the menu?

No steak or chops on the menu anymore.

Yes, the milkshakes are still available and still all you care to drink. Usually have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, orange, caramel, bubble gum and cotton candy****not all flavors may be available though***. Yes, you can get a shake as your drink or dessert with the DDP.

The nachos and sausage in the skillet are available at lunch only. Dinner has chips with queso and salsa for dipping and shrimp instead of sausage in the skillet. The shrimp is served hot cooked in garlic butter.

...and let me tell you, the cotton candy shake was excellent! My youngest ordered one and I tried a sip - WOW! :goodvibes

Does anyone know if it is possible to order the rainbow trout dish from the lunch menu for dinner? WCC is one of our kids' must-do's every year, but DW doesn't care for anything on the new dinner menu. I know that Disney is usually pretty accommodating, but was wondering if anyone has tried something like this at WCC recently.

I just noticed these changes.. I'm disappointed about the steak not being on the menu anymore. I was looking forward to that!

We ate there in April and had dh and I had the steak. OMG is was the best meal that week. I am going to miss that steak our next trip. My dd had the roasted chix/potatoes and they had the cinnamon apples. She ate the whole thing. For this trip in a few weeks, WCC was the only restaurant she wanted to have her birthday dinner at. Now the menu doesn't have the apples listed with the roasted chix. Does anyone know if they still put them on the plate or have done away completely?

I had lunch at WCC on 8/10. The lunch skillet had sausage and bottomless shakes were still there. I remember seeing nachos as an appetizer.

No more cinnamon apples. There are cinnamon apples as a dessert on the kids menu but they are raw apples tossed in cinnamon/sugar. Not the same.

AAWW Man!!!! That stinks!! Oh well, at least they still have the chix. I noticed on Trails End Buffet Breakfast they have the apples on the menu. Does anyone know if they are raw like WCC, or cooked ones like WCC always had? My dd wants to eat there b/c of the mickey waffles and apples.

That does stink. The nachos and steak are the main reason I picked this place after seeing them on the food porn thread. This is why it also stinks to have the make adrs 180 days before you leave and now it is to late to change. I wonder if you can ask for the nachos since they are on the lunch menu. Oh well , but the shrimp instead of sausage will make my dad happy.:)

The nachos and sausage in the skillet are available at lunch only.

I have an ADR for dinner in November. My DBF is looking forward to getting the skillet, but he is allergic to shrimp. Could we see if they will put sausage instead of shrimp on the skillet? Also, should I note this on our ADR or just tell the server when we get there?

Thanks!

I know.. we ate there for the first time in January and the steak was great ;) I was really excited to go back there again..

Anyone that has been there in the last few weeks remember if the Cinnamon Tortilla/Banana dessert is still available?
I didn't see it listed on the dis menu dated in August, but its still listed on the allears.
Thanks
Jill
