Are the waffles at WCC breakfast Mickey shaped waffles? I know it is silly, but I have always wanted a mickey waffle. We are going to WCC for breakfast and I am hoping for Mickey waffles. TIA!

Yes :thumbsup2 We ate there just last week and they were the mini Mickey Waffles. The Mickey Waffles are only on the AYCE skillet. The regular Belgain Waffle entree if just a normal waffle.

Regarding WCC... how noisy is it really? I saw some clips of it on You Tube and it looks like it gets really loud.... Is the noise level beyond tolerable?

I don't think it is all that bad, actually, but then again we have a 4 and 2 year old and a brand new little one at our house so most meals are pretty loud and crazy! :lmao:

We stay at VWL pretty often and always eat a few meals at WCC. That being said, dinner is usually the loudest and has the most "activities" going on. If you don't really want to be a part of all the craziness like the pony express, asking for ketchup, etc. then just ask to be seated in the smaller dining room. It is wonderful, only about 4 - 6 tables and has a big fireplace. You are close enough to see the action but removed from the noise. When it was just hubby and me, that's where we would sit.

Hope this helps! Jennie

P.S. If you are going for breakfast and want to get a bit of craziness, just order a coke or other soft drink in place of coffee or juice .... sit back and watch what happens! :rotfl2:

Pardon me, newbie on the the DIS board & having a hard time following the acronyms. Can you please tell me what WWC and VWL refer to. Thanks so much and I look forward to all the information on these boards.

When I had the skillet, the waffles were the pinecone type. Maybe they changed it, but I don't remember them being Mickey Waffles.

Good to know. We haven't eaten at WCC, because the atmosphere doesn't appeal to us. Your post about the side room made me think we may give breakfast a try someday & ask to be seated in there. Then....... I read this little tidbit, & now I'm thinking "maybe not." :o I only drink Diet Pepsi (yucky Diet Coke at WDW) & would rather avoid the antics. :scared1:

Didn't mean to scare you off! If you choose to sit in the quiet area and decide to order a soft drink at breakfast, you should be completely safe. :thumbsup2 The servers there keep things one-on-one with you ... when you are in the main dining area is when they start shouting to the other servers and to the restaurant population.

Have a great trip! Jennie

We had the skillet just last week, and they were Mickey. I'd actually told DS ahead of time that they were pine cones but they were the same waffle. I don't know when they changed it but we ate there twice, and they were MIckeys both times.

I had Mickey waffles there last September (on the all you can eat skillet), and I'm sure hoping for them again this year!
