Both legs are screaming in pain right now. They're both infected. John had to change the wrappings on both of them today. So I had to take a half a vicodin at noon. They still hurt so I took another half at 1:30pm. They still hurt so I took another half at 3pm. I can still feel the pain, but it's numbed right now and I'm light headed so I don't care. I don't dare take anymore or I'll be falling asleep.

The WBTA is on my bucket list... good stops too...

That's a good idea. I think we should. It looks like a good one.

We should do a) Alaska in ? b) WBTA in September c) Carribbean in July and we should wait until the new itineraries get published. Then we could see what the majority of people want.

That's a good idea. I think we should. It looks like a good one.

You know... after doing 2 weeks on a ship... it's hard to go backwards..

My aunt who has only done carnival thinks that she'd get bored with that much time on the ship... then again.. she comes from the more part of the family...

I just smile. Give me 14 nights or longer every time! We did a 4 night cruise last year and it felt way too short.

i did a 6 day west coast repo cruise and it was barely long enough to have fun on the ship

I always laugh when people post on the boards "Do you think we could have fun on a 3 day cruise?" Ummm... NO... why don't you just walk on the cruise... and then turn around and walk right off... But then again.. I guess Carnival does run the booze cruises for just that reason...

I've been on everything from a 4 night to a 15 night and they ALL go WAY TOO FAST!!!!

When I did the 7 night to Tortola after the WBPC, I never even unpacked because it was way too short. hahaha.

James is here now plowing us out and it's still before 11am. Usually he comes in the afternoon. We only got about 6 inches so we did great. There's still a strong wind blowing all the snow around out there. AND it's frigid cold. A good day to stay indoors. We don't have to go out for anything today.

Deb, I'm glad your legs feel a little better today.

My head started pounding around 5am, so I took some Excedrin when I got up at 5:30am to go pick Tyler up from the YMCA. Slept until noon (he'll probably sleep all day after being up all night swimming and skating eating pizza and having fun!) and now my head is banging again. Time for more Excedrin.

He did great at home yesterday all day for the snow day. Wasn't going to post that online anywhere while he was home alone, for safety of course. I called him after 2 hours, made him read me his list of rules as a refresher, and he told me he was playing a game on his iPad, watching Disney channel, eating Garrett popcorn and had taken a short nap. I called him at lunchtime to remind him to eat lunch and he was playing a Wii game and had been playing with the cat. He called me a bit later to tell me a random phone call came up but he didn't answer it since it wasn't on the list of allowed phone numbers I'd given him but he wanted to make sure it wasn't me calling from a different number. Then he called me at some point in the afternoon and asked me to please not call him for a little while because he wanted to take a nap, LOL! Then I called him on my way home to let him know he could go outside to start shoveling. He was so proud of himself for following all the rules!

It's such a beautiful, sunny day outside! If my head stops pounding, we're going sledding when Tyler wakes up! If he wakes up long enough before we need to leave for the monster truck show tonight.

How much snow did you get Holly? We got about 6 inches. Just enough but not too much for a blizzard.
