I had no idea Jan. I was just going by all the cats that I had while growing up. The males were territorial and went outside. The females stayed in the house and were domestic. Now I know better.

It doesn't matter, Ella will stay here with the kid and the dog. She can chase all the mice she wants and bring them to the kid. hahaha.

We have decided that it's better for us to be pet free while living in FL. It's a house rental, we don't own it and we want to travel for lengthy periods at a time. It's not fair to have animals.

We can see Angel and Ella when we visit PA.

Since I don't know Yiddish, I'm using it as an American word meaning dumb or ignorant. I don't mean to offend anyone who knows it's Yiddish meaning.

feeling a little down right now...missing someone a lot & not expecting to see him for a while + pms = blue

Trying to hold it together & I know I will...just hope not to add any stress to his life, as he's still going through training. He told me that there were 31 people that started on 1/7 and as of 1/25 there were only 10 people left.

Trying to think of different things to do over the weekends so I'm not thinking as much about him.

FIOS is being installed here at the house tomorrow (it will take 6-8 hours) ugh

Not really looking forward to having to deal with a stranger for that long.

Well I'm hoping that they are both OK and I'm glad that Ian is doing a little better. You're so welcome. I've been thinking about Ian because I know how we worry about our nephews and nieces. They mean the world to us.

You need a beach! Just go to look at the water and chill, even if it's too cold to lay out in the sun.

It's hard having a long distance (2 hrs.) relationship. Especially when he works and trains 7 days a week. I'm sure he has to take the Series 7 test for Merrill Lynch. That's a really hard test. I studied for it once, but never took it. It was really tough. AND there's so much to learn. He must be exhausted by the time his day is done.

I'm sure that's so hard on you. You're not in the same place as him right now. Your life is pretty settled while he is still striving in his career. That makes it even harder for you. The best thing you can do is learn to be patient and keep very busy. As hard as it is, he can't be your focus right now....coz he's unable to make you his. Not yet. Timing is everything. Give it the time that it needs to get it right.

Hugs sweetie, I know it's not easy. You can do it. And it will be worth it in time.

Tyler's going to be so happy when he sees the treat I just ordered for us! A BIG 3.5 gallon tin of Garrett popcorn! It has his favorite cheese popcorn, spicy cheese for me and caramel for us to share. I'm not telling him. Can't wait to see his face when it shows up at our door! And, just as exciting to him, we discovered our favorite pasties while up north last summer, and they have a $20 shipping special if you spend $50, so I ordered a whole bunch! Woohoo! He's not going to know what hit him! It will be hilarious if they both show up on the same day, LOL!!!

Time to get out of bed (or couch, since that's where I've been sleeping for a month) and have breakfast! Had one big beer last night out with 3 friends, and my headache from that is almost gone, so......time to get moving! Have to pick up some books being held for me at the library, get groceries, and might go to the Women's Expo with a friend. Thought about skiing tonight but am honestly afraid to go until after my insurance starts. I never wipe out, but that would be just my luck while I'm on this lapse in insurance. So although it kills me to hold off, I know that's what I have to do. Couldn't go last winter because it was too warm for the snow they made to be any good. Maybe next year.
