Simply cut this out and carry it on your person at all times.

You will avoid many a potential socially fatal faux pas.

Here's something funny. Tyler's been wanting spikey hair just like the kids at school since last year. Actually, he wanted a mohawk last year like a few other kids, but he's settling for spikey. So today I thought I've make his day and used some gel I have, plus a bunch of hairspray, and made his hair spikey. It didn't last long, he said it was flat before lunch. I had told him this morning if it doesn't hold up all day, we'll go look for a real product today after school. So we did, and I bought something called La Bella Spike Glue! After he went to bed, I tried it on myself just to make sure it works before getting his hopes up. Of course, my hair is too long to stand up, so I just tried with the bangs. IT WORKS! I look like a unicorn! I can wiggle my head all over, tip it upside down and side to side and the spike still pops back up! He's going to be SO HAPPY in the morning, I'll be sure to take a picture and will share it when I get home at the end of the day. His dad is going to be so UNHAPPY because he's very conservative and doesn't like anything "off the beaten path". I'll be nice though, and will send him an email warning him. Tyler's so tired of the short buzz cut his dad always makes him get, I'm helping him be a bit of a rebel. And he told me this morning that all the kids told him his hair looked "so cool", so he'll love having it last all day!

And I just have to splurge on myself and get the 5-way chocolate lovers tin. It has the chocolate covered caramel corn, white chocolate covered caramel corn, chocolate covered pretzels, white chocolate covered pretzels, and chocolate peanut clusters. I don't like popcorn BUT if you cover it in caramel and chocolate and white chocolate, then I'm happy. Of course I would have to pick the most expensive item, but OH MY GOSH, it sounds so yummy! I'd hate for me & Tyler to be eating all of that, so maybe I'll take it in to work on the first day of my new job to share with everybody, and maybe that will entice them to want to order.

Well, it's getting close to midnight here and when I stay up to midnight on a worknight, I feel like I'm dead all day, so that's close enough!

And my spike is still standing up. Tyler's really going to be in heaven over this stuff.....and his dad's gonna FREAK! It really does feel like cement, but the instructions say it rinses right out. I'll test that out too in the morning before putting it in Tyler's hair.

Yeah, um, I'm almost 40, so if I stay up all night, I'll fall asleep driving to work for sure! I almost fell asleep driving to pick Tyler up after school today. Last time I stayed up all night, I'm pretty sure I was in my 20s. TOO long ago for me to remember!
