What have you been doing for clean undies since you got off the ship???

Well, I may have exaggerated that number a bit But, since I got sick I haven't really had the energy to fold laundry so, I'd wash some and then leave them in a basket and dig for clothes every day! I decided I was tired of that.......bad housewife......thankfully Scott doesn't mind and has stuck with me!

Today is going to be a busy day after work. Tyler gets out of school at 3:30, then he has karate at 4:15, then he has occupational therapy at 5:30. Then rush home for supper, then we can relax a bit before his bath. Tomorrow he gets to leave school a bit early because he has his 2nd med check with the psychiatrist at 2:40, and after that I'm going to take him to get signed up for boy scouts. Then we should have plenty of time still to play in our backyard or just relax. Then Wednesday is karate after school again right before going to his dad's. Busy couple of days!

Kaylee, that's how I do laundry most of the time, unless I get super motivated. The clothes stay in the dryer until we need them, and then once we've used all of them, I can do another load.

I have some pictures, but have not posted them because I didn't want to take away from Ian & Sukie's day. Maybe later this afternoon. They're just pictures from the zoo yesterday and right now I only want to see pictures and stories from Ian & Sukie's weekend!

I love the cake toppers. How clever ian to get those done. They are fab!!!

The cake was better than the cupcakes. The frosting on the cupcakes was really good. I guess thats what makes them famous.

Ok... we missed ALL the fun... This is from the EB repo about the ADULT pools!!!

If it had stayed with just throwing lightweight balls, that would have been harmless. But the belly flops off the hot tubs and rails, the target practice with footballs (knocking things off tables), throwing cast members into the pool, stealing cast members clothing, flashing of body parts, the list goes on and on.

The parents weren't necessarily running up and down the hallways but there were quite a few parents who were treating the adult pool as if it was a frat party. I was like, what? are they filming "Animal House on the Disney Magic" down there? I know I'll probably get flamed, but it's a sad state of affairs when security, lifeguards, and other CM have to be stationed around the adult pool because adults can't behave themselves.

Bell flops off the hot tub - hurt no one but the person doing the belly flop

Bell flop off the rails - dangerous to the person doing the belly flop, no one tried again after being told no more (although they faked it a few times)

target practice with the football - one person (guy in the hot tub) got out of hand with the football

throwing cast members in the pool - hardly the first time this has ever happened. Talking to David, Luke, Dan, etc. they had more fun doing their jobs (including getting thrown in the pool) when the guests were having fun

stealing cast members clothing - Please, DJ Dan's shirt became one of the funniest running jokes of the cruise

flashing of body parts - I missed this, saw some bathing suits that were quite revealing but that was it

Other than the one person who was throwing the football too hard, I didn't see anything that was worthy of security being posted at the adult pool the last few days. This cruise was more fun than most I've been on when it came to being at the pool.

It did seem like more of a "Carnival crowd" in general, and it got more and more obvious as the cruise went on that the kids were getting bored out of their minds. I guess 15 days is just too much for them. I'm so glad we were well out of traffic's way on deck 5 aft...it was amazingly peaceful, other than the one kidfest that we had security break up. But I'd be back on that cruise in a minute if I could...I am still going through withdrawal.


I WAS GONNA SAY... IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT CRUISE THEY WERE ON...YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WAS CARNIVAL!!!

I remember a few odd balls trying to turn into the Carnival but I'm going to name any names and some of them aren't even around anymore

Hi all I would possibly be interested in the EB TA and the cruise right after this (okay, very interested but only possibly able to afford it ) I would just love to experience this cruise with all of you again! I would definately be looking at cat 12 though. We all have to keep dreaming...right?

It seems like the flight would be cheaper. I checked out flights and it was 1000.00 each for round trip

From what I have gleaned from others' posts it does look like some different itineraries.

I believe Copenhagen is just for June and July(not sure of dates) at 12 day intervals, meaning 12 day cruises. It looks like Oslo and a German port around Copenhagen. Everything else is speculation but folk are hoping for St. Petersburg in Russia.

For after the end Of July nobody knows anything yet. Word and rumours had it that 2010 would have special itineraries, with an s!!!

Andrew Derek who is the 'expert' rumour guy thinks the Transatlantic will possible have a different route to last time, but could be anything from 9 - 14 nights. Guesses are for a Transatlantic EB to set off a similar time to when ours set off.
