So... since the scuttlebut around the boards is a Baltic cruise for 2010...

Should we pick a date and all try to go together???

I heard that it won't just be one type of cruise but many "Special Cruises"...

Anyone want to go????

I do!!!

We need to coordinate... Who's organized on this thread???

We're in :thumbsup2

I definately want to do this....but need to see what these itins are going to be before I can decide on a date. I'm just glad that they're giving us the itins 1 day and not making us book them on the same day.

Agree - we would probably do Baltic though - not a repo.

That's 8 cabins, right??? wonder if they do this on special itineraries?? Would we all have to be in the same cat??? You know Nan and I are Verandah snobs... :lmao: :snooty: :lmao:

We're are verandah snobs too:thumbsup2

I'm good for a group rate if we can get one....but would that be ontop of the % off for booking on board?

I think it would be great if a bunch of us could go together.

Thanks so much for the pics from Ian & Sukie's party! I LOVE the cake topper, especially how Tallulah & Truman were included! :goodvibes My fav picture so far is the one where Ian's hugging Sukie from behind and Sukie has a great smile! :thumbsup2 The cupcakes looked yummy, now I'm wishing I had something sweet lying around to compensate. ;) Looking forward to seeing more pics and more tales from the event.

Ok... we missed ALL the fun... This is from the EB repo about the ADULT pools!!!

If it had stayed with just throwing lightweight balls, that would have been harmless. But the belly flops off the hot tubs and rails, the target practice with footballs (knocking things off tables), throwing cast members into the pool, stealing cast members clothing, flashing of body parts, the list goes on and on.

The parents weren't necessarily running up and down the hallways but there were quite a few parents who were treating the adult pool as if it was a frat party. I was like, what? are they filming "Animal House on the Disney Magic" down there? I know I'll probably get flamed, but it's a sad state of affairs when security, lifeguards, and other CM have to be stationed around the adult pool because adults can't behave themselves.

Bell flops off the hot tub - hurt no one but the person doing the belly flop

Bell flop off the rails - dangerous to the person doing the belly flop, no one tried again after being told no more (although they faked it a few times)

target practice with the football - one person (guy in the hot tub) got out of hand with the football

throwing cast members in the pool - hardly the first time this has ever happened. Talking to David, Luke, Dan, etc. they had more fun doing their jobs (including getting thrown in the pool) when the guests were having fun

stealing cast members clothing - Please, DJ Dan's shirt became one of the funniest running jokes of the cruise

flashing of body parts - I missed this, saw some bathing suits that were quite revealing but that was it

Other than the one person who was throwing the football too hard, I didn't see anything that was worthy of security being posted at the adult pool the last few days. This cruise was more fun than most I've been on when it came to being at the pool.

It did seem like more of a "Carnival crowd" in general, and it got more and more obvious as the cruise went on that the kids were getting bored out of their minds. I guess 15 days is just too much for them. I'm so glad we were well out of traffic's way on deck 5 aft...it was amazingly peaceful, other than the one kidfest that we had security break up. But I'd be back on that cruise in a minute if I could...I am still going through withdrawal.

I WAS GONNA SAY... IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT CRUISE THEY WERE ON...YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WAS CARNIVAL!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OH... Holly... you're a Smartie Queen.... scrounge around a bit... I'm sure you'll find some... may have to dust it off, but if you're that desperate... :scared:

I'm glad that we were better behaved! We did have fun though, didn't we?!

I'm keen on the Transatlantic as long as someone can convince me I'll be ok in those seas!!!:scared1: May as well continue on to the first cruise too!!!

Not sure anybody will want to stay up this way.

I will be curious to see how many of us do the cruise in 2010. Sounds exciting. I guess I will not be cruising in 2009 since I plan on moving the dates to the 2010 ones.

I am really psyched that I may see some old friends on the new itineraries. Several friends from the WB repo rebooked for Sept 2009 and I can't travel at that time. I checked my schedule and as long as the TA leaves on May 9th or later, I can go. I may have to leave the kids at home, lol. But I will be there if at all possible. Maybe I can talk a friend into sharing a cabin. However, I snore badly. So, that might not work out. In any case, I have yanked the kids out before, so i guess I could do it again. LOL.

Want to share this with me too??

Hi Gydell- can't believe I get to see you in about 1 1/2 weeks - looking forward to it. It'll just be me.

I have a 4nt held that I want to move to 2010.

I think we should get a group going from our friends if we can... the more the merrier I think!!!

Hi all :) I would possibly be interested in the EB TA and the cruise right after this (okay, very interested but only possibly able to afford it  ) I would just love to experience this cruise with all of you again! I would definately be looking at cat 12 though. We all have to keep dreaming...right?

I actually DID go scrounging! :rotfl2: I found a package of lemon iced cookies in the car. I often keep a stash of goodies in the glove box!

Hey... can someone photoshop me :flower3: in there somewhere??? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Last night I was trying to catch up and was blubbering over the wonderful video of Jill and Matt's wedding that Monica posted, tonight it's Ian and Sukie   What great photo's! I sure do miss everyone.

A cat 12 is better than no room at all.......we may be joining you when we see the prices.

We would have to do a Cat 12 again too. But I'm not sure I could afford one of those cruises with what the airfare would be. Tyler is still saving for a cruise though. ;) He put a bunch more change in his bank that adds the money as you put it in. He asked me how much is in there, I told him $13.56, and he asked me if that's almost enough for another cruise. :rotfl2: Gotta love him for trying though!

I'll be trying for a cat 11---but if it's considerably higher than the 12 I'll go for a 12.

No. I tried, but all the 12s were gone, so we had to take an 11.

Gydell, yes a cat 12 would definately be better than nothing! I tried for a cat 12 for our PC cruise but they were gone so took an 11 , which was fine. First cruise so had nothing to compare it to! For Tortola I have a cat 11 too, but I've booked a cat 12 for the following B2B. I have also wondered about maybe sharing a cabin with someone, but I am worried that what if we booked then one of us couldn't go? I think you'd then have to book the solo price at whatever the current cost would be, so it could be quite an increase? I get a bit of a settlement at work next year because we are changing banners and I will be losing a lot of $$$. Trying to decide if this trip is worth putting a bit of that settlement aside for. I will have to give it some thought.

Congrats again Ian & Sukie....from the looks of it, it was a wonderful wedding weekend for you both!

I had a crazy weekend that ended with my Hawks getting squashed by the bills :( oh well, with all of our starters injured, what can you expect?

Saw the part about northern europe as well...think we'll pass on that one. Something I would love to do, but just not right now...

Off to finish folding my 14 loads of laundry!!!!!
