That's Great for their ages......want to adopt me?????:lmao: :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: sure, come on up here, Kaleigh can move into a big girl bed, and you can have her Winnie-the-Pooh toddler bed (you can be the baby in the family :lmao: )

But seriously, there was much discussion to try to figure out how much to do for an allowance. We might have gone too high, but they can save some. Shaelyn's at the age where she's wanting to buy CD's, and WiiGames, which add up really fast. It'll take her 3-4 weeks to have enough for a CD. And they can build up some savings for our next Disney trip. A couple trips ago, Shaelyn really wanted to do a charm bracelet, so she spent her own money on it. It ended up being $50! Good thing she had a bunch of birthday money

Oh boy, I'm SO not ready for Tyler to start to want to buy things! :scared1: He very rarely asks for anything, but when he does, he's fine with me saying he can put it on his birthday or Christmas list, whichever is closer. That works out nicely because with his birthday being in May, there's usually only a few months for him to wait for whatever he's wanting. :thumbsup2 And any money he does get now, he either hoards it somewhere in his bedroom or puts it in his wallet or piggy bank, saving for a cruise!

Wow, it's cold tonight!

OK, I'm headed to bed. I'd love to stay up and play, but don't want to be tired for our fun day tomorrow. After church, we're hopping on the highway to head to the Detroit Zoo. Then on our way home, if Tyler doesn't fall asleep, and if it's not too late, I plan on surprising him with a stop in Novi at a store called Ridemakerz. I learned about it a few weeks ago on some car program on tv. It's the same idea as Build A Bear, but with cars. Check it out: www.ridemakerz.com . I told Tyler all about it a while ago, and he was so excited about it! Me too! ;)

Goodnight all!

I think that's awesome. It will teach them about how to handle money and save it. Good Job!

Sounds like a great day Holly. Enjoy!

So quiet since all the west coasters are at the wedding reception. I'm sure they're having a fabulous time. I couldn't make it, but I did go to my friends birthday party at Merrieville winery in St. Helena. We did a tasting there and then went off to a park around the corner for late lunch. It was fab! I bought a bottle of dessert wine...so good! I'm going to have to do that more often. I forget how close I live to all of the good wineries....hope everyone else had a great saturday.

Nan just posted that they made it back to DL for the fireworks... BOOM BOOM BOOM were her exact words....:thumbsup2

POST PICTURES!!!!!!!

HI Michelle, you sure were missed today. Gumby and Poky were a big hit. I would love to post pics but having trouble uploading to photobucket. I will keep trying for you.

I missed all of you too!!! :grouphug:

Nan texted me when you made it back for the fireworks:goodvibes

I hope you all had a great time and I owe you guys a big thanks for making Ian and Sukie's wedding such a wonderful occasion!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

You're glad I didn't send Planky... He would have eaten all the cupcakes!!!! :thumbsup2

What about that mother in Orlando whose daughter has been missing since Fathers Day. Now they think that she chloroformed her kid to knock her out because she didn't have a sitter and she went out partying. That's just sick. If she did that, she deserves to rot in jail for the rest of her life.

A forensic pathologist interviewed on the news said that they see it all the time and the kids are given all different kinds of drugs too. I can't even imagine this. Some people just don't deserve to have kids.

 I have never heard of anything like that, but there are more and more 'home alone' cases all the time. Last week 3 children, 11, 7, and 5 were found alone at their house. Their mum was away on honeymoon in Afghanistan! They had been fending for themselves for 11 days.

Found this on another thread....

go all the way down......next to the last row & in the center is something to see with 2 people we've come to love (I just hope they don't kill me for posting this :lovestruc )

Oh, that was wonderful. Didn't Jill look beautiful?:)

Don't feel bad Michelle, we have a cement front stoop! :rotfl2: If somebody sits on the step, you can't open the door. :rotfl: My goal is to eventually have a front deck to sit on in the evenings. My dad actually had planned to build one for me last year for my birthday, but I needed a new water heater, so he did that instead.

:lmao: So, what do you two think a conservatory is? It is just a glass building on the back of our house. It can be great in there but can get a little warm to say the least. Or freezing cold in winter as it isn't heated.

That looks cool Holly. I hope you both enjoy it, and as Deb said, post a piccy.

Hi Michelle

What is tylenol?

 I have never heard of anything like that, but there are more and more 'home alone' cases all the time. Last week 3 children, 11, 7, and 5 were found alone at their house. Their mum was away on honeymoon in Afghanistan! They had been fending for themselves for 11 days.

:lmao: NO WAY, TODAY IS MY DAY OFF, PHEW

I feel much better now after I took tablet and cup of tea early this morning.

Now Ian and I have to go to pick up our kids as his parent are going out today.

Last night my work party was good that I expected it
