Oh it look beautiful

Can go for the day? Just wonder.

Where are you staying at? Hotel or apartment or Villa? I am nosey :rotfl:

Oh at Tenerife, you will get beautiful weather ::yes::

I am counting the days lol think 6 weeks to go or 7 weeks :rotfl: :rotfl:

Scottishwee35

They do day trips from Tenerife, but not sure how expensive it is. When we were out and about we saw coaches dropping people off at the visitor centre at the tropical forest. There are some great view points. The sand is black!

We stay at a timeshare type place we belong to. To be honest, there isn't a whole lot to do there in general. We are going to relax and swim in the great pools on the comples. Oh, and eat of course. It is a great place for walkers and the whole island is criss-crossed by walking paths. During the summer though it is really too hot for walking (fortunately!!!!!!!)

I'm a little worried I will be bored now after spending so many hols at WDW

I'm finding it impossible to keep up now that I am retired! :confused3 Good morning all! We are still RVing it in Missoula. The house here closes Monday and then we will leave to go get our stuff out of storage...by way of DL! :yay: We will be at DL Wed and Thurs of next week then Dennis will go to the USC/Ohio State football game on Sat and we will leave with our DS, DDIL and DGS and their stuff. We will go thru OR and pick up our stuff and be back here to unload on the 17th. DS starts work here in the 18th. We are having a good time here reconnecting with relatives and good friends.

Jackie don't worry about the hair... They will love you for just being there... :lovestruc

I hope so, 'cause I didn't get it done! :lmao:

HEY ANGIE! Man......you just miss us in DL by ONE DAY. :sad1: We head back homeTuesday morning.

I'm all packed and ready to go, but will need to make a purchase in CA for my 'supplies' for Saturday...unless we are 100% on schedule for departure, then I can take care of that before leaving the valley.

GAYLEEN, VENETIA, BUBBA, KELLY, NAN & CREW....see you Saturday! :cool1:
IAN & SUKIE....see you at dinner! :thumbsup2 Maybe after dinner we should go back to the HoJo's and stalk Nan........

My ride to work should be here any minute, don't think I'll be back on the computer, so everybody have a good weekend, and everybody who's traveling, travel safe!

.

Hey....

Hi Angie. Just wonderful to see you and hear how things are going. Don't worry about catching up, just keep us informed!!! Most of what we are doing is chit chat, and planning for 2010.:yay: We miss you you know!!

Enjoy DL next week. Sorry we won't be there to see you like we did in May.

I hope so, 'cause I didn't get it done! :lmao:

:scared1: :scared1: Now I don't feel so bad for not even starting to pack yet. :lmao: Actually, the clothes are in the dryer, so I'm almost there. But I think everyone is going to have to look at me with grey streals and brown roots...just don't feel like coloring my hair tonight....maybe I'll bring it with me and do it Friday night...if we're not up super late PAR TAY ING !:woohoo: :cool1:

Man....if forgot to ask Cheri if she's brining her swimsuit...well, I guess I'll just throw it in the back in case there's time for a dip.

I haven't had my hair done since before the cruise :scared1: My roots are like 6 inches long :lmao: My hair dresser is 30 minutes away and I haven't been able to get rid of the kids all summer. The last time I had is done around here it was way to expensive. We'll take a cute picture with our roots together

Can we do sort of what we did with the Dis picture???? Cherie was it you who was able to put names on people to identify them??? I know alot of people...but I was wondering about the rest...

Any help???

I'm there and that's all that matters :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I had a lovely day that day. Martini tasting and then champagne tasting  How come no warned me ;)

Ladies, I just want to say something in case you don't read my longer posts.

I want to put in a vote for Champagne Girls to stay just girls. I think it was special and as much as I love the men, I think it would change the experience.

We read everything, unlike some people :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That being said, I MISSED the conversation about changing the champagne girls to be co-ed :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: What is this about?

Good Morning

Olivia was up all night as she had an accident last night that she drop a chair on her toe.

Her toe look painful, swollen and bruise.

Think take her to sick hospital to check it??

What a carry on

Scottishwee35

I hope it isn't broken. Broken toes are the worst. Let us know what happens.

Just been to the chiropractor (click click), and walked back doing a bit of shopping. It is horrible out. Pouring with rain and cold - 57deg F.:sad2:

But, I am back home, getting dry, Dising and drinking a cappuccino!! I just need one or two pals.:lmao:

Just 18 days and we are flying off to the sun!!:yay:

I'm so happy for you. Where are you going, I forgot.

Glad Olivia's toe isn't broken, but being cracked will be painful!!!

We are going to La Gomera, which is a small island off the coast of Tenerife. We fly to Tenerife and then get a ferry from Los Christianos over to the island. It is a long day!!! La Gomera is like a volcano and there are no roads around the outside of the island so you have to go up and down snaking roads, and a journey that would take about 10 to 15 mins from where the ferry docks opn La Gomera to the site takes around 45 mins. We have been twice before, and I am still a bit scared of the roads.

Here are some pictures. You can see Mount Teide on Tenerife from some of them.

http://www.thu.no/gomera01.htm

There is a map on here. You can see what I mean about the road system.

Are you going to be sleeping on a park bench? It looks beautiful.

Ok, a bit boring. I will bore you more when we get back!!!

Hi everyone. Just a quickie, because we're heading out the door for in a moment.

So, let's see how this trip has been so far ...

Yesterday I finally mastered tying a bow tie.

Oh, yes, I got married...

Quite frankly we were both nervous and completely stunned. Sukie kept waiting for something to go wrong. I kept waiting for something to go wrong.

Nothing went wrong.

It was wonderful to have Kelly and Jonathan as our witnesses and the clerk couldn't have been better.

Kelly and Jonathan had a DVD going in the mini van of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and a CD of the wedding march.

It made all the difference in the world to have friends as the witnesses and know that you were all there in spirit.

I guess everything just lined up right this time. It certainly felt more real than our attempt with Canada. Last time we didn't even know what to wear. This time, the attire was carefully planned.

Did you like the expensive hats?

Aside from the pseudo Edwardian motif I was striving for, there was additional meaning behind "the look."

It was intended to be old fashioned and us looking like two old "confirmed bachelor gentlemen" as people used to refer to unmarried men such as ourselves.

We ended up not going to Napa Rose. We were still too full from our lunch at Cafe Orleans. We had a 6:30 PM reservation at Napa Rose. I tried to change it to 7:30 or 8 but they were booked up.

I couldn't see eating a big dinner if we weren't hungry (that will teach me to eat a Monte Cristo).

OK, more later and perhaps some more photos. We're off to Disneyland.

By the way ... the next cruise ... bow tie lessons!

Once you've seen a real bow tie and not a pre-made or clip-on there's no going back.

A real bow tie looks much better and is really not difficult at all to tie, once you understand how it's done.

Deborah, either Northwest Airlines have made a mistake, or someone indeed is guilty of fraud.

I would contact your bank to look into it.
