Cheri,

These are for you, not quite high school. Actually I was 18 and 19, it was my freshman and sophomore years of college:

Not quite!!

Hello Everyone:thumbsup2

My god I have to catch up the pages.

I had a bad news from my brother this morning that our friend died at the Heathrow airport after came back from holiday. She was waiting for another flight from Heathrow to Aberdeen. I was shocking to heard that news and I feel sad again! She just had a 60th party same time while we were on the Cruise.

I don't know what happened as suddenly died - look like heart attack. I cannot image that after the holiday.:sad2:

Sorry another sad news, I just wish to have some happy news!!

Scottishwee35

So sorry Deborah. That must have been such a shock for her family travelling with her.

& while we are Ohhhing and Ahhhhing over pictures...

Marilyn... Guess who... aged 2... :cutie:

& yes, my mother did do my hair that day...

Lovely, thanks V. We miss all your pics you know.

By the way, when I finally got down to my goal weight, I had a closet full of clothing, I could fit into again ... pity, I could have been very stylishly dressed for 1985. I ended up giving it to a charity.

Somewhere out there, there's a homeless person whose dress up and looks like they're headed out to a gay bar on a Saturday night in 1985.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hi Marilyn...I'm awake again...haven't gotten back on a normal sleep schedule still. I'm so tired of being tired...:cloud9:

Poor you Nan. It is so annoying and I think the more tired you get the more emotional too.

Hope you get back to sleep very soon.

what are you up to today? I'm getting so bored with tv and computer games. I might try reading, but since my eyes are getting so bad (and I have to wear glasses) I've tended to stay away from my books :sad2:

I used to read soooo much, but haven't for years. I used to get into a book and nothing ever got done!!!(Now I do this and nothing ever gets done!!:lmao: )

I have to go into town for some shopping and things, and then there is the cleaning etc.:headache:

John is home at the moment doing some work on the house outside, but he has to go into work soon.

Anybody been reading the recent posts about kids/teens gone wild on the EB? I guess 15 days is a little too long...boredom kicks in.......mayhem ensues! :lmao:

.

Missed this earlier.

I had noticed one or two comments about this. We didn't have too much trouble on our cruise. We did have some door knocking and running away(but that could have been Nan and Gaylean:rolleyes1 ) and some moving of door decorations, but nothing bad. I guess there were more kids/teens on this cruise. Whenever I saw teens they were well behaved and polite.

yes you know me too well :rolleyes1 I stay up late at home but zonked out on the cruise, so it wasn't me knocking on your door

I so glad we did the May repo. I would have been very disappointed having kids running all over the place. I bet my kids wouldn't have enjoyed it much either, the goodie two shoes that they are. I'm sure I'll have my time to pay with them, but for now I'm happy they are level headed and respectful. ::yes::

OK, now I'm going to try to go to bed, just infomericals on tv...BORING :cloud9:

Have a good day over the pond :goodvibes

Apparently my brother hasn't booked Tortola yet....looks like the cabins right across from ours are gone. :sad2: Siblings....will they never listen?

.

well

you

know

M E N are hopeless:rotfl:

My husband told me that he don't want to go to Med 2010 if same place:sad2: He said that he thought that excursion was very expensive but I said we can stay on the ship anyway. Oh well wait and see 7 October then I am counting the days now. I feel that it will be Med because why open date Oct as last time was in January?

He want go to caribbean - I said but but next year will be Caribbean.

U know what I am saying - Typical M. E. N. ::yes::

I told him about Alkaska maybe in 2010 - he laugh at me:confused3

He said that office based at London and he feel that old ship will stay in Europe and we can go anytime. MEN huh.

Today I went to school to look around as it is a lovely place.

Lovely day today too.

To be honest, I am glad to hear that and I was surprised that they took UK passport and we didn't :thumbsup2

Oh well I glad that we booked May as we want August as it was sold out.

Also I was not happy with the club as they put changed aged and I think staff last year was much better.

And it was lovely disboards people to share with too.

I noticed about the passports. Perhaps it was something to do with Cartagena being a port on this cruise.:confused3 That is the only difference as far as I can see.

Good Morning All!

We leave (the house) in about 30 minutes to get on the El (train) for our journey down to Midway.

How we're going to manage this with 3 bags and a backpack and change trains down in the Loop is beyond me.

We'll have a laptop with us and the HoJo has free WiFi so perhaps we'll be back on line later today.

We are taking the Disneyland Express bus (Grayline) from LAX to our hotel. We're going to hit Disneyland this afternoon and we have dinner reservations at the Blue Bayou this evening.

See whoever we're going to see when we see you!

Yes these are the friends, and no, seeing the photos would just confirm their thoughts!!!:lmao:

I don't think the grandkids realise that going to Disney is odd for oldies to be honest. One did ask why we kept going there but that is all. Our eldest grandaughter just says 'I don't like Disney'. This comes because she was terrified of the characters and didn't like the rides when we went to DLRP 4 years ago!!

Did you tell her that the characters were people in costumes? what rides did she not like? We did not take our kids on any of the rollercoasters until they WANTED and BEGGED to go. For DS#1 that was when he was 15. DS#2 went in Rockin Roller Coaster when he was 26 because his brother and sister-in-law were going.

DH and I have never been on it. DH has been on Tower of Terror once and Splash Mountain once and Space Mountain never. He does not like Roller Coasters. He knows it so does not try.

Now :confused3 for some reason no one can understand, he wanted to go on Mt. Everest and he loved it. :scared1:

Jan (who is 45 pages behind--AGAIN!) :sad2:

Yes, we sure explained to Abi numerous times about the characters but to no avail. She did manage to approach a Princess and Minnie Mouse and felt quite proud I think.

We would never force an child on a roller coaster. The youngest went on Dumbo a couple of times and we did go as a family on the Carousel, but Abi sat in one of the 'carriages' and not on a horse, and she wasn't impressed!!

She was sitting with other children on the kerb waiting for the parade and it was ok until the dragon they have in Paris came along. The head came down and all we heard were screams from Abi and she shot back to her parents and was hysterical for some time. That was that, no more parades!!! Caused quite a bit of amusement around about.

Everybody please wish Tyler good luck today having a better day than yesterday. It didn't go so well for him. He was quite physical with other kids. And he just can't remember to raise his hand in class instead of just yelling out. But that second part isn't really anything to worry about, that will just take getting used to. The physical part, however, is what we've always had to deal with in group situations. Good grief!

His dad was making excuses and told me he's not surprised he had a rough first day. I told him that's no excuse, he was excited to see his friends and told me he really enjoyed school, so he should have had the same good day all the other kids had. It's just dad's denial poking out again.

Then he countered with, "Maybe we should have the doctor put him on something to improve focus." :confused3 Well, that has nothing to do with what was happening and he actually has good focus when doing schoolwork. Some men are clueless.
