oh ya, I'm recalling it now...how many times did Gaylean call me that night on our way to get her???? 20????

I missed the first meet....what do you expect? Plus I had no one to talk to on the DIS boards :lmao:

Holly those are great pictures. I hope everything works out for you with your job, either way.

Thanks! I'm outta here. Been fighting a migraine all day, and I ran out of Excedrin earlier, so I'm screwed for tonight. So off to bed I go, hopefully I'll get lucky and it will go away overnight.

You all are just sooooooooo entertaining......I'm laughing constantly reading about your doings......especially Ian and Sukie......Ian can I interest you in some Waterford.....if you're going to eat glass, ya know it should be the best there is! Ha!

Deborah, thank you for posting the pic of me and John in the Cove Cafe. I did see it and it was so sweet of you.

Marilyn, good luck on that vacation! I hope you like your son in law a lot! Our family Disney cruise was the beginning of the end of our relationship with DD Sandi and DGS's Tom and Kris......Because of Joe, our son in law. Things are fine on the surface for all of us, but we don't want to be around them anymore because of Joe.

Gaylean, Hope you get to have that drink and relax and have a great time at Brooke's party!

Michelle, Hope all works out for you to go to Ian and Sukie's wedding. I hear it's going to be the event not to miss!

Holly, Great to see you back in full swing once again. You have so many periods of being off the boards due to computers and connections, it's great to see you everyday again.

Shannon, hope you enjoyed your alone time and was ready for the thunder of little feet to be back home again. I'm sure you missed them and Ken.

Lisa/G520, How is the neighborhood now that Fey is moving out? Do you have any flooding?

Monica, Where are you? Hope you're well and rested today.

Nan, Did Will race yet or does he go tomorrow? Tell him GO SPEED WILSON!

Jan, Hi! What's cooking?

Jackie, Don't forget to savor every bit of food you eat on your trip so that you'll be ready to return and start your new plan. LOVED ALL the pics you posted.

Kelly, I can't wait to find out what you have planned for the Wedding with Disers. Post those pics as soon as you can.

Cheri, Hope you're able to get some great dives in and post some great pics for us to see.

If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry.....getting to be an old geezer.....!!

Deb, How do you do it? All these comments and no quoting. WOW  what a gift! :thumbsup2

How are you doing? We miss your posts. ::yes::

We had Tom's Dad here for the weekend. He arrived Friday afternoon, we took him to our favorite pub for dinner. :drinking1 We went to a great air show on Saturday, the guys played golf and his Dad headed home to Arkansas on Sunday.

I had a major meeting to prepare for so used their golfing time and much of the rest of Sunday for prep. It went well Monday and then some of us went to lunch afterwards.

I got some groceries and came home to try to catch up on the Eastbound's Panama Canal thread and our thread--did not accomplish either--still reading. :surfweb: As Dory would say--"Just keep reading, just keep reading....."

Three clients to see today and back to Walmart for the eggs I left at the checkout yesterday. Then some work related work and now DISing.

OK, since photobucket has decided to work for me now, I'm going to bore you all with MORE pictures! ;) These are from yesterday's bike ride:

such a nice place to ride :thumbsup2

glad the pics finally loaded they were worth the wait:goodvibes

I'm not sure I'd admit that :lmao: Was that the night that I decided that it WAS possible to go from one veranda to the next?

ummmm, we were looking at the view and listening to the waves what are you thinking :rolleyes1

Wow, ya'll are talkative. I am back to my normal self. I had a pulled muscle that wasnt healing b/c of work, and I was exhausted and stressed b/c of work. So I took the week off and am doing great. I started school this week and go back to work tomorrow.

I went to a scrapbook convention and thought of everyone here. I made an albulm that says Cruise. Each letter is a page and am going to put pics from this cruise in it. And I won one that says Magic and is Disney themed but still have to put it together. I will try to take pics and post them soon,

We had to take all 3 cats to the vet today and it was a kitty chorus in the backseat. All 3 meowed the whole time, even while the vet was seeing them. I guess they had alot to say!:lmao:

I hope everyone it doing good. We miss everyone. Matt is almost done typing his trip report and the he will post the whole thing at once. I really wish we could at DL for Ian and Sukie's wedding but I am sure there will be pics.

Great to hear from you Jill. I will keep checking your trip report for Matt's additions!

Quoted from the Panama Canal Day thread of the Eastbound Repo and then my reply to it below.

This is form the WB repo in 2005.

DCL had a video crew onboard to film the Repo and most of it was never seen, I found this on YouTube and wanted to share.

enjoy.

It says it is the Westbound 2008. If you look past the bow of the MAGIC in the MIRAFLORES LOCKS picture you can see the submarine that accompanied us. But at the end when there is a speeded up film of the Gatun Locks there is a container ship that was not there with us. I wonder if they used aerial footage from 2005 and Locks footage for that part from 2005 and meshed it with some 2008 footage. :confused3

Thanks Nan! I really love our river trail. Yes, it's a brown and yucky river, and you often have a view of factories and/or the occasional abandoned old building, but overall, it's a pretty trail. Tyler laughed at the little golf carts buzzing up and down. We saw 3 when we were there yesterday and they're the "River Patrol". They drive up and down all day, picking up any trash. It's nice that they keep it so clean for us! :thumbsup2

Oh.....and wait till you see what I'm loading next! I have a couple very short video clips from yesterday's karate class.

OK, here's one from yesterday's class. It's just Tyler following the instructor through the form he'll have to do at graduation tomorrow. I think if you just click on it, it should play. Sorry, my camera doesn't record sound. :(

I'm assuming the fireworks didn't happen anyway because it's still raining and lightning. We ended up not playing racecars, but went on our front porch to watch the storm for quite a while. :thumbsup2

It's so nice that Tyler's able to stay up later now! I really enjoy our extra time, especially since it's fun and relaxed time now. Except his licking everything. THAT drives me absolutely batty! Sometimes I manage to forget about it now and then, but it's just ridiculous. EVERYTHING he picks up, he must lick. EVERYTHING. And if he's some place where he's not picking things up, such as karate class, he has to lean over and lick the floor whenever he's close enough to do so. It's horrible. He doesn't realize he's doing it and when he tries to stop, it just gets worse. We're still trying to figure out what that's about. The OT isn't sure if it's a sensory thing or not because if it were, she feels that him having a chewy around his neck constantly (which he's had since a couple days after the cruise) would satisfy that oral need. Even having gum in his mouth constantly doesn't stop or slow it down. So the psychiatrist thinks either OCD behavior or anxiety, but only time will tell. He really thinks it's an anxiety coping mechanism, and said if it is, then the drug he's on will help with that since the drug reduces anxiety. Nope, not a change.

HOWEVER.......since that's the only bizarre behavior remaining, I'm OK with it! I'm the one who just has to get past my issues with him doing it. I'm really surprised the kids at school haven't teased him about it yet because there's no way anybody would not notice it.

Wow, that was a lot of babbling! Sorry!

Stop apologizing ::yes:: You need to vent. :thumbsup2 Where can you more safely vent than here. :confused3 We all know and love Tyler, so it's OK. :grouphug:

AND, you never know who will know something that will add a puzzle piece and help solve the riddle! :dance3:

Deb and Kaylee- feel better soon. My week just got rough too.

My step-dad has Parkinsons and this past weekend it got worse. He fell at work yesterday (hes a DR.). So I went with my mom to pick him up so I could drive his car home. Today I accidently took too much Adderall and then my mom calls again. My stepdad had to stay home b/c he can't walk. They need me to take my sister to school tomorrow so mom can take him to work. Then I have class, the TH I have to take sister to some practice after I get out of school. And next week I have to put her one the bus and pick her up as mom is taking DsD to the Dr. in GA so they can fix his meds. She wanted to cancel their DCL vacation in Oct. but I wouldn't let her. All I was planning on doing this week was classes and studying. I have to work the entire holiday weekend too. Plus moms birthday is next week. I NEED a vacation.

That is great! :cool1:

Too bad there is no sound. I had to make the HI-YAs in my head, but I can do it! :yay:

I took karate for a while. No joke!

Jan :earsgirl:

This one isn't very exciting, it's just a board break with the elbow. But since I'm so happy to have photobucket working again, I'm posting everything! Sorry to bore the heck out of you all, but I'm having fun! ;)

You took karate, Jan? Very cool! I'll have to tell Tyler tomorrow. :thumbsup2

OK, here's the final one. This was Tyler's first time sparring. The new class he started doing, the leadership program, requires much more equipment (which I've ordered but it hasn't yet arrived) and they also do sparring (for 30 seconds). He'd never done it before, and the kid they put him with has been doing tournaments for a while, so he's very experienced. His mom told me he often forgets that you're only allowed to make physical contact in tournaments, NOT in class! Fortunately, the teacher yanked him back as soon as she noticed. Tyler told me afterwards that he wasn't worried because he's watched the other kid before and knows he forgets not to make contact and told me he wasn't scared at all. :scared:

Jill, how can you do all this? It's so wonderful you're able to help your family out, but will you be able to keep up your studies? Just be sure to also take care of yourself. You sure do need a vacation!

What's funny is I can't see these video clips on my computer because it says I need Quick-something or other, which, like Flashplayer, I have downloaded many times in the past but the computer doesn't believe me for whatever reason. So I can only see it on my tiny camera viewer. ;)
