the weather seem clouds

Thinking of everyone as the Magic goes through the PC. Hope everyone is doing well. Wish we were all back on the EB repo! What a great cruise we all had! Such great memories.

I guess I woke up from my nap just in time! I wish I could capture pictures for Deborah and others. I showed Tyler, and he said "WOW!" But when the screen went solid white while the page was refreshing, he said, "Well, it's all done, let's go!" I reminded him that it takes all day, not just a second!

Well, I didn't realize that there was no webcam at the Bridge of the Americas, so I went back to bed since it about 4:45 am when I got up to see it go under the bridge
Got up just as it came up to Mira flores. I have a bunch of friends onboard.

Well, I didn't realize that there was no webcam at the Bridge of the Americas, so I went back to bed since it about 4:45 am when I got up to see it go under the bridge
Got up just as it came up to Mira flores. I have a bunch of friends onboard.

Holly, don't feel bad. I kept wondering how on earth they were getting to the Bridge of the Americas so early when it took us all day! I know I really shouldn't even admit to that one! I'll just blame it on the Old Geezer thing!

No it's not just you, I was confused too until I saw the map on Andrew UK's thread.... large personal DUH - they are going backwards!

Now it's obvious that they've gone up. The other thing I was confused about was that they are at Mira Flores going up not down..... DOY!!!!

Oh my gosh, I've got one grumpy kid! I'm trying to get him used to just eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner without all the snacks for 2 reasons: 1. he's very overweight and 2. there are no more snacks at school beyond kindergarten, so he'd better get used to it now instead of throwing a fit at school. He just told me he wants to eat and I refused, so a major fit went on for a while. I just calmly kept explaining to him that our bodies don't need to eat until lunch time, etc. and reminded him about how it will be at school this year. Hopefully with eliminating those 2 snacks at school, his weight will be back in the normal range.

Yup, I'm a mean mom, but I've had many discussions with his dad about how his dad feeds him. He lets him eat those McDonald's breakfast sandwiches every day he's over there, usually TWO of them! I told him that's a WHOLE day of fat and most of a day's amount of calories! I told him the best cereal I've found so far is Mighty Bites made by Kashi because it has more protein and less sugar than other branks of cereal and keeps him fuller longer.

Anyway, it's a struggle to have him eat the right things here when he can run to his dad's and get all the junk food and candy and juice boxes (which I refuse to buy) and fatening stuff over there. Yes, we made cupcakes here last night, but I do allow the occasional goodie, just not all day every day like he gets over there.
