Now if you said that there were going to be 20 donkeys wearing little sombreros and playing musical instruments ... well, then my interest might be piqued.
.

Options cost more...besides... we could have gotten you them in PV... :goodvibes

Actually, I don't even like Dunkin Donuts.

So getting you some munchkins (don't even touch that one...:lmao: ) for a wedding gift is out???

For that matter, I don't particularly even like donuts.

After our lovely trip to Windsor, where we overnighted in the fabulous Quality Inn in downtown Windsor and supped on pizza, the likes of which I have never tasted before ... after the non-wedding, back in lovely Detroit, I did have 3 Timmy donuts.

I don't eat donuts, but given the state of shock I was in, it was either going to be a bottle of vodka or the donuts ... I should have gone with the vodka.

I think the next day I was suffering from a donut hangover.

Donuts don't have hangovers.... :sad2:

Did the WONDER go to Port Canaveral or to Fort Lauderdale? :confused3

Jan :earsgirl:

Ft. Lauderdale I heard... Supposed to come back to PC...

Hey Michelle! The kids are doing great. School starts on Monday and I am DREADING it! Life changing so much...no more sleep in days for the kids, homework, sports, music....argh. It is great for the kids, and might be great if I didn't work, but trying to juggle it all is always the biggest challenge.

How are you doing? Feeling well?

Reading about all the donut talk really gets me craving one! Did you guys catch Andrew's post that 2010 will come out in Oct?
Lisa

Hi Lisa!

Can't believe the kids are starting school already...I feel like I'm still in spring time, but before you know it the school busses will start to roll through the neighborhood waking me at the crack of dawn...

I've had my days... good and not so... I just found a whole bag od Tart N Tiny's that I believe will temporarily make me feel better... I cannot get hold of any Smarties until daybreak... ;) (that's my story and I'm stickin to it...)

I haven't seen the post yet... I'm hoping for the Med but there's lots of talk about N Europe... Anybody in? :dance3:

Well I said Irish men were cute and I married someone that looks Mexican. He's adopted so we have no idea what he really is. I got a tag too. Did you see?

I'm saving for 2010 and now I have to save for this. How old will you be?

Some Irish people have dark hair so, he could be Irish.

Where did the bubble wrap and zip lock comment come from? what were you talking about that the Tag Fairy captured that?
(disregard this question if you have already answered it.)

:goodvibes Good Morning V, nice to see you here :goodvibes

Was woken up early this morning 6am or so to a strange noise, I thought it was the garbage truck, I was wrong it was our neighbor's employee driving his dump truck into our tree :scared1: Instead of stopping when he hit the tree he drove forward and ripped it apart. We are now having a large mature tree (20-30 years old) cut down from our park strip. :sad2: It was very pretty and gave nice look and shade. I've asked to have a Crape Mertle replaced for it. They have a pretty flowering plant, but of course it will be a small tree compared to its nieghbor (we had 2 in our parkstrip) oh well, it was just a tree and not a car or a kid.:sad2:

What an idiot they guy is! I am losing patience with idiots. :sad2:

I've just caught up and I have to say goodnight, it was a wonderful day in Monterey but I'm so tired I just can't keep my eyes open anymore

So as of now... Kelly has an empty parking lot and a cup of Joe for you... ;)

& Gumby and Pokey as a wedding topper...

Hey Lisa, Did you get my cartoon I sent via email? And who is Andrew? And what post?

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Do you know this song?

I like a nice cup of tea in the morning
For to start the day you see
And at half-past eleven
Well my idea of Heaven
Is a nice cup of tea
I like a nice cup of tea with my dinner
And a nice cup of tea with my tea
And when it's time for bed
There's a lot to be said
For a nice cup of tea

:sad2: Nope :sad2:
........Not me. :sad2:

The Disney Cruise Line® continues to monitor Tropical Storm Fay very closely.

Tropical Storm Fay has stalled along the eastern coast of Florida near our homeport of Port Canaveral, and its path is uncertain at this point.

For this reason, Port Canaveral has been closed by the Port Authority and the Aug. 21, 2008 sailing of the Disney Wonder® will set sail on its 3-night itinerary from Port Everglades, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Other than the departure port change, we do not anticipate any additional changes in the upcoming Disney Wonder itinerary. Transportation will be provided for Guests with transfers and those arriving by private vehicle at Port Canaveral. It is important that departing Guests park at our terminal in Port Canaveral as the ship is scheduled to return there on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008.

Thanks. :thumbsup2 That is what Tom was expecting but we did not know how to find out.

Had a long conversation with cousin Jo. She has been studying the Unoffical Guide to WDW for months now and had a big old list of questions for me. I had a blast talking to her about their trip (she'll be there for my birthday :sad1: )

Did you guys hear that Four For A Dollar are no longer doing the pre-show at Beauty and The Beast at MGM.....excuse me, Hollywood Studios. Man, I LOVED those guys. They are individually being interviewed/considered for other positions for Disney however.

Gee.....I wish I knew what I was doing on Saturday, Sept 6th...:confused3 Will I really be icing cupcakes, making Gumby colored frosting, shoveling donkey poop?????

.

Thanks Marilyn... I've got to go bet on horse #2 in the 6th race... which ever horse that is... ;)

So, what was the horse's name and how did it finish?
Why #2 in the 6th anyway? :confused3

Jan :earsgirl:

You'll have to ask me tomorrow... my horses weren't running today... theirs were... mine weren't... :sad2:

BTW, I AM an experienced equine poop shoveler.....six years practice! :thumbsup2 Just thought you'd all want to know. Sister Peg, however, is the EXPERT shoveler....36 years experience!

.

I've never had a weathe related day off work :sad1: :sad1: Of course I also don't want to have any hurricanes either :goodvibes
Enjoy your day off!

:confused3 Never a snow day off work? :confused3

We got that once in the 14 years we lived in our first house. The snow fell so fast and heavy all night that the plows could not keep up. It was upstate NY where they KNOW how to handle snow.

Unusual to have a "snow day" when you're an adult ::yes::

Jan :earsgirl:

we are good driving down for the weekend, but I just couldn't afford the extra, flight and hotel for the "event" :sad1: I'm sad I really wish I could be one of those witnesses, but I'll be there in spirit that day and for sure on Saturday for whatever the party is    Kelly, we gotta get that finalized and out to the guests :dance3:

Nan - I think things always work out for the best, .....Seriously, it's great that you can be at the school event.

Besides, a little birdie in upstate NY told me that you had arranged for pony rides at our celebration dinner in the parking lot of Dunkin' Donuts.

What a gal! What a pal!

.

Don't worry about it. Ian already told everyone--pony rides at Dunkin' Donuts.

Well, apparently my earlier threat of buying a new computer has persuaded mine to work. I swear, I have the goofiest computer around.

Computers are toddlers. :lmao:

Most electrical appliances and machines are toddlers. ::yes:: They do as they like, they push the limites, they don't believe you are serious until you threaten them or actually put them in time-out.

My computer requires time out from time to time. I tell it that if it cannot play nice, then it will be timed-out and it can come back in 20 seconds and stay out if it plays nice. But if it doesn't play nice, it gets another time out.

Then I turn it off, count to 20 and turn it on.

I am NOT kidding here.
