Kelly told us that our cake topper arrived today.

Sukie and I were out for our weekly cultural excursion, which in our case means going to the supermarket.

It's where I catch up on my reading and what's going on in American culture while standing in the checkout line.

I see that Ellen has tried to steal our thunder by getting her wedding on the cover of People magazine.

I just want you all to keep our wedding hush hush. I don't want to be pestered by the paparazzi while we're in California.

Perhaps in some alternate parallel universe in a different space time dimension, parallel Ian and parallel Sukie would do that. Ride around on donkeys and play baseball. They probably also swill moonshine and go on turkey shoots.

However in this space time continuum, you all got stuck with this version of Ian and Sukie.

I can safely say that there is a greater chance of us wearing polyester leisure suits than playing donkey baseball.

Oh... now you've gone and done it... Jackie.. they're wearing leisure suits for the wedding... Pale blue ones with whit shoes... Please dress appropriately...

Hey Jan... thanks for the thoughts... I would LOVE to live on the ship, but I'd have to take some time off to wander and see the rest of the world...

I've done it all... it seems... I'm looking into a fibro guy over in Troy through St. Mary's... He's more new agey than straight clinical... I'd like to try accupuncture. It can't be any worse than being stuck with EMG needles...

We just started getting Dunkin Donuts coffee here. We have been importing it from Boston for years.

I used the link you posted and checked out our area - we have 8 within 10 miles. I guess people in Florida really like their sprinkles!

For that matter, I don't particularly even like donuts.

After our lovely trip to Windsor, where we overnighted in the fabulous Quality Inn in downtown Windsor and supped on pizza, the likes of which I have never tasted before ... after the non-wedding, back in lovely Detroit, I did have 3 Timmy donuts.

I don't eat donuts, but given the state of shock I was in, it was either going to be a bottle of vodka or the donuts ... I should have gone with the vodka.

I think the next day I was suffering from a donut hangover.

Hey Michelle! The kids are doing great. School starts on Monday and I am DREADING it! Life changing so much...no more sleep in days for the kids, homework, sports, music....argh. It is great for the kids, and might be great if I didn't work, but trying to juggle it all is always the biggest challenge.

How are you doing? Feeling well?

Reading about all the donut talk really gets me craving one! Did you guys catch Andrew's post that 2010 will come out in Oct?

We had nothing but rain rain rain rain and some windy weather......cloudy and dreary. BUT, good news, Chuck and I got our bedroom painted and it looks so nice! Today he's going to start on the masterbath! at least our rooms will be cheery! It's a nice butter yellow and the bathroom is "GreenOlive"...

It's dark again today, and the TS is just sitting over Cape Canaveral. I hope it's moved on by the Wonder departure time tomorrow!

Jan, it's funny you mention that because when I showed Tyler the picture yesterday, his first comment was something about how lucky Bobby is to go on another Panama Canal cruise, then he said, "Oh, I see he's dressed just like I used to do!" He's happy to see clothes on him.
