I know what you mean but Jon's mom is an Occupational Therapists and she says some little girls prefer them

I suspect some parents are encouraging that by putting them on the little girls when they are little and they get "used" to them.

Then if the parents encourage it, the kid thinks of herself as sexy (like Holly's niece) and she has fabric making her aware of herself in a way little girls are not....

What are we setting this kid up for??.....

Jan, this is exactly what I constantly tell my dad & stepmom will happen to my niece. It's disgusting.

It's hard to believe that next weekend is Labor Day weekend. Where has the time been flying?

Talk of kids going back to school, etc.

I think my biological calendar might just be about ready for Memorial Day, not Labor Day.

I just shared that with my friend and her response was "Thanks for all the updates, we haven't heard ANYTHING." That surprises me.....but maybe it's just that she's been hearing these things from me BEFORE hearing it from official people, thanks to you all here sharing the updates. The DIS grapevine sure is great!

I don't think it's a sexy thing. Some people have issues with different underwear and clothing and materials. She recommends thongs for little girls and sometimes they like them better than briefs or bikinis. I know people that hate thongs and some that won't wear anything else because they are comfy to them. Then you have some women that wear different ones depending on who will see them and those are the ones that are doing it to be sexy.
