I actually read up on allergies being the cause. It really made me think. He has been tested for everything and they say he isn't allergic to stuff and I know he is. I would love your help without having to move! I had a good doctor once that gave him a steroid and we started over with the food like he was a baby. Only adding in foods slowly so we could determine if it was food. It was really hard. The other thing I didn't tell you is that when he got his tonsils out he didn't eat anything for almost two weeks and his eczema completely disappeared and he didn't wet the bed, which he still does. It is strange that you mentioned the gut healing because he really has gut problems and is backed up even though he is on miralax. When he gets really backed up he can wet more often. I also saw a study once where they injected kids with the thing they were allergic to and they got crazy hyper and couldn't concentrate. It was weird. He isn't hyper at all. In fact he may be the opposite!

I have to work on my presentation tonight, but I'll try and drop you a note on myspace or facebook after the weekend.

I am going to go sit in a Hyundai Tucson and see if I like it. I might consider a new one of those over a slightly used Rav4 or CR-V, mostly because of the great warranty (10 years/100,000 miles) and saftey test results.
.

That is the vehicle (2008) I bought last fall when my Mercury Cougar gave up the ghost.

I have no complaints with it so far except that it seems to have taken quite some time for the engine to "break in" so that I am at least getting close to the advertised mpg. About 20,000 kms

Someone please tell me that although children haven't changed, the people responsible for children have.

I'm sure Ian there are just as many nice teacher back then as there are now, what had changed from my view is how the kids are mean. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't see this kind of stuff from my peers when I was young. It started for Molly in 2nd grade. For me it was junior high, maybe 6th grade. Also the bullies of today are tricky, lots of the mean girls can cut ya down with a mere look.

love, love, love, love this!!:hippie: :hippie:

Has she been tested for this? Dysgraphia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dysgraphia

Searched all of my text books and couldn't find a definition nor cure!!

Can't find a local place to test for this. I'm sure there is one somewhere, but we have decided that it's money better spent to help her with what the task at hand has been, rather than spend it on lots of expensive tests to tell us what we know. Dysgraphia as I understand it isn't an LD that our schools will support (i.e. give her help with) but ya never know and like I said she is being tested again at school this fall, so I hope she display her problem in the tests that they give her. If it's a fill in the bubble she can do that with her hands tied in knots so it doesn't present itself.

The play was great      I give it 5 dancing bananas :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wilson did really well, and didn't smile at us in the front row too much (ok he did) and he blew me a kiss too :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

He did in my opinion upstage the lead little kid Winthrop just a little bit. I have the feeling we have just opened a wide door for Wilson to enjoy a new activity.

Molly had a blast and is flying very high on a sugar 11 year old rush....

I'm not even thinking that they will go to bed tonight. Glad our bedroom is at the opposite end of the house to where the crazy girls are sleeping.

She is having an ice cream sundae bar instead of cake

I'll mail you some of that in a zip lock, be careful what you wish for :scared1:

(michelle, mol hasn't seen your wishes yet, I'm sure she will reply promptly)

She opened her presents from us and is happy. She is working on getting the playroom ready for the sleepover, setting out the snack and such. She won't be able t greet her guests as they arrive, so we have to get it all done way before she leaves. The performance starts at 7:30pm, they have to be on set(stage?) at 6pm in full makeup and hair. Her guests arrive her ~ 6:30pm then we wander down to school (2 blocks) ~7pm to meet the rest of my family. Should be a fun night.

On a sad note, little brother is feeling a bit down today. It's hard for him when she has her bday parties. Since his bday is in the winter he never remembers that we have a nice party for him too. He is just a sensitive boy. :sad2:

Must go get some kind of break a leg(s) bouquet, not sure what to get the boy for this either???

It is a hard lesson for the younger sibling to learn. Our 2 grandaughters are just abour 2 years apart with their birthday's a montha apart. The youngest is first, but a month later when her older sister has all her presents, she used to cry and be naughty because she wasn't getting presents etc. She seemed to have forgotten that just a month before.........!

Marilyn... that's Donna from our table... I've PM'ed her to let her know... but you're so thoughtful!!!! :goodvibes

Ah yes, Martha posted earlier didn't she. Muddled up!

Bullying when I was young was a group of girls taking your school hat and throwing it around between themsleves. Or just obviously excluding you from a group, or childish pranks. Today it is much more serious.

So glad the play went so well. Bet you are so proud of Molly and Wilson. Hope you did manage some sleep.

Just got home from the Steely Dan concert. Man, those cats can play!

YOU HAD A COUGAR??? I HAD A T-BIRD!!! What year??? Did it end up leaving parts along the side of the road like mine did??? Oh how I miss my car...:sad1:

OH Woody... don't tell me that... We got rained out when they played Bethel Woods... :sad1: :sad2: :sad1:

Hi Marilyn!!!! :yay: :yay:

I'm off to snooze land...

Have a good one!!!

I'm totally off after being on the pain meds... like I got to sleep any earlier before...:lmao: But it's been raining all night and we have floods all around the area (not me, thankfully... I live up a little from the river... )

We were supposed to go out tonight but didn't make it... I DID make Raspberry pancakes for dinner... :goodvibes I like to have my dessert first!!! :lmao:

I'm off... before the sun comes up on me...

Have a good one...

Tell John I said Hi!

Could you get a rain check?

Woody

Oh... I wish!!!

It happened with Chicago and the Doobie Brothers too... I guess I should live in a drought area for outdoor concerts...

I do believe that I will be getting indoor seats for the Police for next Friday... They aren't selling too well, (price wise with the economy in this area...) so I should be able to find something...

Night Woody!

I saw the Police concert at the beginning of the reunion tour. You would like it.

Woody

I will say hi to John!!!

I love desserts, and always look at the dessert menu first when out for a meal!!:lmao:

Hope the floods don't get any worse.

Goodnight Michelle.

Goodnight Woody.

Good Morning

I just got up now

Logging in from home this time, so I can actually see pictures!:cool1:

That's a great picture - the only with the piano looked great too!

Well said, I hope my kids always have at least one good friend to get them through the tough times at school. When I was a kid, my mother drilled it into my and my sister's heads that we'd always have a friend in each other. I've started repeating that same message to my girls, so far it seems to be working (at least Shaelyn sticks up for Kaleigh and watches out for her)

I want to see Mamma Mia too! Maybe on Friday while Ken's watching TV. Do you think its good for kids?

Shannon

Last night I went to see the Mamma Mia but it said must be over 8 years old :confused3 I don't know why as it was brilliant and I want to go back again to watch it as remind me film Grease :rotfl:

Marilyn

If you like Abba's music and go watch that film. I find it better than performance show which I missed out lot. Now I know what it is about.

I feel like to dancing and singing
