Well, that looks fun! :goodvibes

Within all the difficulties Holly, I hope you had a really sly laugh there.
Oh, I sure did! I even chuckled out loud at times, and I think I did mutter something about his denial. :lmao:

wow she is tiny, that's almost half of Molly!!! did Annie and Daniel have a growth spurt later in life? Or do you think Gretchen will just be a little bitty thing?

Happy Birthday Molly!!

Gretchen has followed Daniel's growth pattern exactly. (Gretchen is July 24th and Daniel is August 3rd so they are almost exact) Until now....Daniel grew at the end of 6th grade and all though the summer. Gretchen has not changed at all this summer. I just spent $300 on dance shoes for her.....still a size 2.

She has been dancing all summer...but in two weeks starts intensvie dance camp. For two weeks, I think they dance 40 hours a week!! Then Labor Day and then school starts!!

Today is warm day.

The house is quiet now as the kids are away with thier grandparents for 3 days.

I am meeting friends today for coffee then go to picture to see mamma mia.

Deborah, enjoy your free time! :goodvibes

I always say I would have been a lowly servant girl. Did you ever see Upstairs Downstairs? It was a long TV series in the 80's I think, about a well to do London family. I really enjoyed it. I think the story started just as Queen Victoria had died and ended up a little after WW2. The things that happened above and below stairs would rival any soap of today.:lmao: Really good show. I would say to watch the videos, but there would be sooooooo many.

LOVED Upstairs Downstairs and wouldn't EVER miss an episode! I think a lot of American Baby Boomers and devout Anglophiles...I blame it on the Beatles! :lmao:

Dubrovnik, Croatia is a PRIME Mediterranean destination that I'd LOVE to visit. Hear that DCL? eh? (Well actually, that's the Agean Sea...but it's a destination on many eastern Med cruises.)

Oh, look...I'm late for hitting the shower again....eek.

.

Wow, Tyler is almost her size. He's 4 feet, 57 pounds!

Like I said she is tiny. She was a bus patrol for 2 years and the 2nd graders were bigger than her. :lmao: :lmao:

She has a cousin (my brothers daughter who is 20 now) who looks exactly like Gretchen. She was always very tiny...the doctor's wanted to give her growth hormones but her parents would NOT do that. She did not start her period till she was 17. Now she is 5 foot 10" and 120 pounds.

It will be interesting to see what Gretchen does!!

Yay for Frank! This is great news! :goodvibes

Well it has been a long 8 months since he got sick. But it was worth it. The doctors have all said he would be dead now, if we had not done what we did!!

All's well that ends well!!

The kids are in VBS this week and we just got back from the river. Brooke saw a friend that she hasn't seen since pre-k and they acted like they hadn't been apart and it was so nice. We love the family and it is refreshing to meet a great family that has kids both of our kids ages and are fun to be around for us. They are truly nice children. They were going to private school but they informed me that they will be going to our schools soon so we are really happy. Very boring for you all but we are happy.

Nice story. VBS is awesome. Of course, my kids are too old for it, but 2 different weeks this summer they both volenteered at two different chruches as guides and craft people!! They had a blast!! (Except the getting up at 8am part) :lmao:

What are Webkins?

Not too sure if anyone answered, but they are like Beanie Babies (small stuffed animals) and cheap ($5-$10). They come with a computer code and you logon to a website and play on line with other kids that they know. My kids had hours and hours of enjoyment, but now they have just outgrown it. (read My Space and Facebook!)

Holly glad to hear that the appt went so well and you are on the right path with Tyler! :cool1:

Nan...great pic of the kids. Hope opening night is great and that you survive the slumber party! :goodvibes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOLLY!!!

I am so happy for Tyler as well. It will take some time, but you are on the right road now. Give him lots and lots of hugs for us!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

I remember several years ago hearing about a guy who was flying to Oakland, CA from maybe L.A. Somehow he ended up on a flight to Aukland, New Zealand. Kind of the same story, he was very tired, fell asleep as soon as he got on the plane, next thing he knew...he was in Aukland!

Dennis wound up in Denver when he was flying from Louisville to LAX to get married! :bride: :confused3 He was supposed to change planes in Memphis or somewhere, but they did not tell him that so he stayed on the plane. The crew shut down the plane in Denver, turned off the lights, and were deboarding while he was still sitting in his seat. :rolleyes1 They stopped and asked him where he was headed and he said LAX, they said "not on this plane, Son!" OOPS! I was 17 years old, waiting at LAX for him, had seen him a total of 7 times and he did not show up! :scared1: And it was 2 am and I was alone. :sad2: He had no $$, but did have a check book and wrote a check for $12 to cover the additional fare from Denver to LA (he was military, in uniform and got very good rates in those days!). He also asked them to call LA, have me paged and tell me when he would be in. They did, but not for hours! It was past 5 am when I finally got word that he was on a 7am flight from Denver. The staff at LAX all gave me these pitying looks like I had been stood up, except for one janitor who sat with me (I was crying of course) and told me to just stay put, he new where I was and he would somehow contact me. I have been forever greatful to that kind man who helped me make the right decision!
