If you're curious at all about it, give it a try as a 2-player game. I mostly follow Indy-Ken around. I like that you play as a team, so its not just him kicking my butt :lmao:

I went back on WiiFit again last night. I'm no where near meeting my weight loss goal. I've completely flat-lined  But on a positive note, the exercises are getting easier and I think I'm firming up in some areas :cool1: I tried the Island lap run yesterday and it was okay. Step, boxing and hula-hoop are still my favourites!

Don't forget that muscle weighs more than the same volume of fat. So you are losing fat and gaining muscle which takes up less space so clothes fit better as well as you being stronger.

:yay: WAY TO GO WII FIT PEOPLE!! :cheer2:

We shouldn't really talk about it on here should we?

Probably should also post the research results elsewhere too.
Then if some magic happens and Gaylean CAN come, she can read the other thread.

 Gaylean

Glad you had a good time this weekend celebrating the work you did on Brooke's birthday!

Jan :earsgirl:

Hey Bubba, I ate sour cream and cheese and watermelon today. AND I know someone is pregnant and it's not me ;)

Jan :earsgirl:

You should talk about it a lot so I can convince Jon to take on a second job :lmao: I didn't do any work on Brooke's birthday. Bubba and Venetia did it all.

I'm persueded... I just need to get the winnings from the lottery ticket I bought!!! :lmao:

Get the in line Gaylean... Get the in line (said in a very nice Shakespearian type of accent... right Marilyn???)

"Get THEE in line" is the Shakespearean

(just in case no one else caught that missing 'e')

Jan ;)

Or CASH!!!!! :lmao:

Still waiting for LAST :santa: 's bonus... :headache:

I'm still waiting for ANY :santa:'s bonus :confused3

NEVER GOT ONE--Not ever.

Actually, even a raise would be nice. Medicaid cuts on services for children 15 years ago and 10 years ago have meant pay cuts for me. No cost of living increase or raise. Oh well, I don't do it for the pay, I do it for the children anyway, but the pay is nice. We also do not get paid for quarterly report-writing time, mileage or travel time, but only for face-to-face time for therapy sessions.

Jan

I'm game - but no cherry or nuts please.

Btw - if Mom doesn't want to come I am in my stateroom by myself :goodvibes (then you can make sure I make it back to the ship & vice versa)

Oh... Mom'll make it on the cruise without me Monica!!! ;) she doesn't care... :rotfl:

I'll make sure you make it back :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Oh ya, I won't be there :sad1:

Yes you will be...

Gee . . . how can I thank you for pointing this out??? . . .

John... some things... :rolleyes1

Just remember...it takes a REAL man to pull off the pink tutu!!! :cutie:

BUBBA'S PREGGERS????

"Get THEE in line" is the Shakespearean

Jan ;)

Thank you Jan... :goodvibes I also get the I before E thing backwards too... Jersey Education I guess...

We are back from SoCal and it turned out to be a rewarding trip.

My father was released from the hospital on Friday, so he was able to attend the game. His physical recover has been amazing, but his cognitive status is still questionable. He will need to move into an assisted living setting in the very near future. However, he was able to handle all of the hoopla on Saturday night pretty well. It was a little overwhelming, at one point there was said to be a few thousand people in line for his autograph - who would have thunk it - really who would want my dad's signature? He stuck it out until the end. His friends from NASA were in attendance and they treated it as a retirement party. He is officially retired now after 50 years with NASA. He unofficially retired a few years ago, but has been writing a book at Dryden since that time. They presented him with a poster that pictured many of the planes he had flown over the 50 years. One included all of us kids with him by the X-248 (I think). Maybe I could take a picture of it. Below is a article they wrote in the local paper.

Finally, my sister called and told me about this:

We could be rich - we have a whole case of these in our garage now.

Anyway, it's good to have him home.

I love hula-hooping and step boxing. I also rather like the running.

I've got to get Sukie to start doing the Wii Fit regularly so he can get some additional exercise.

I really didn't like the running at first, but now its growing on me. I did it as part of my routine the last 2 days, and it really gets the heartrate up. I love the Mii's all cheering when I finally get across the finish line!

Yes fried Peanut Butter Cups. Monica said they had them at her fair so we were excited to get them but the only had fried twinkies and snickers and something else but I can't remember. We've seen everything from fried pop tarts to fried pepsi. Don't ask how, I have no idea!

I have never seen any of those. I've seen fried pickles, zucchinni, cheese and those are all good. I will try a fried PBcup if I ever see one. It sounds kinda of revolting, but I could be wrong. (I often am :) )

This exactly what we were talking about this weekend. This can't be happening right now :lmao: :lmao:

Glad the weekend turned out so well for you...:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Anyone that is pregnant has to like cheese, sour cream and watermelon so it can't be Bubba :lmao:

Are you sure??? Being pregnant brings out some interesting cravings!!!!

I did not eat sour cream or cheese today and......It's not me!!!!!

And I miss you guys too.:hippie:

Venetia isn't and I'm not and Steph isn't :confused3 Why didn't you eat cheese and sour cream? Did you eat watermelon?

It can't be bad! The fairs here fry everything :confused3 I'm not sure you can screw up a pb cup.

It's so beautiful! You can stay up there as long as you like. They have an outside restaurant/bar with live music. Be sure to drink a Bushwacker and get the souvineer mug with it! Yummy! On their website I think there's a picture of the mug and a $1 off coupon. I see they now have a new attraction, Sky Jump! I do still want to stay up there for a week sometime. :cloud9:

Can someone post the info from Holly's last few posts over on the Tortola thread? I'm DISing on the raspberry and don't have the flexibility to have two webpages open at once.

THANKS :)

Jan :earsgirl:
