Good Morning All!

My you were a chatty bunch last night!

I am now at work, and as you can tell, I'm sitting here Dissing. I don't really give a fig today.

I was however here until 6PM yesterday. People ever so kindly decided to dump stuff on me at 5:00PM, to get it off their desks and on to mine so they could have a nice relaxed holiday.

We also had a storm yesterday, so I took the El home instead of commuter rail. The El station, is 1.5 blocks from my house, as opposed to the commuter rail which is nearly a mile away. I thought it would be best to not walk a mile in the storm.

I got home at nearly 7:30 PM. If I had taken the 6:00 PM commuter rail train, I would have been in my door at 6:25 PM, and that includes a one mile walk.

I ended up just crashing. I did not even go anywhere near my computer.

So --- here we are, on Christmas Eve.

We are in the grips of a heat wave. It was 35F when I left for work. I was out on the front porch this morning when I let the dogs out, without a coat! I actually feel hot.

We are supposed to get more snow or rain today. It was raining when I hit downtown.

I am the only manager here on our team. I declared today a jeans day. It's nice to have power.

My company is closing at 1:00 PM. I may take off at about noon.

Sukie is coming downtown to meet me for lunch, and we may go over to some of the department stores.

We have some very leisurely days planned.

No television watching, per se.

We bought a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, I also got us the Disney Edition of "Scene It" and "Buzz Quiz TV" a trivia game for the PS3. It came with it's own wireless bluetooth hand held buzzers.

Of course, Christmas dinner will be egg and chips.

I am so relaxed right now, I can hardly stand it.

I'm too excited about Tyler's Christmas to be able to focus on work today! I'm definitely not being very productive at all! :rolleyes1

Hi Holly! Jan is definitely one lucky gal! I decided to cancel our 5/09 land/sea. DCL is just getting to costly. We will add a few days at WDW to our 9/12/09 cruise instead. My cousin actually convinced us to try Princess Cruiseline in spring of 2010. They like it as much as DCL. In fact they cancelled a DCL cruise and went on Princess instead. They loved it. I have always wanted to do a Southern Caribbean so we are going to plan it as long as this crazy game of life brings no unpleasant surprises by then.:confused3

Say "hi" to Jan. Wish she and Dave and you and Tyler could cruise with us in Sept.:goodvibes

Donna

YAY! The last 2 gifts for Tyler were just delivered to me at work! Yippee! Now he has everything and I'll wrap them before I pick him up from his dad's and hide them in the trunk of my car with the rest. :yay:

Just wanted to pop in and say that I haven't forgotten all of you and the greatest vacation that DH and I have ever been on. I want a do over!

Wishing all a Very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful, Healthy, Happy New Year!:goodvibes

Looking forward to seeing all who will be on the 9/12/09 Tortola cruise. Can't wait!

Donna

Hi Donna, great to see you. Happy Christmas to you.

Looking forward to the September cruise too.:dance3:

I'm too excited about Tyler's Christmas to be able to focus on work today! I'm definitely not being very productive at all! :rolleyes1

I remember those days. I could barely contain my excitement. I didn't sleep well because of it too!!! I'm sure you are going to have a fabulous time.

This year is the first I feel a bit flat and the Christmas magic has waned. I guess 60 years is good going though.:lmao:

We are leaving in the morning to drive 11 hours to PA to see our kids and baby Sophie princess:

MERRY CHRISTMAS all....we celebrate tonight. I'm excited too....we're opening presents with Tom this year. YEAH!!!! And Emily seems to always be around too. With the two of them, it can get crazy and hectic.....but always something fun and different.

We have no electric right now. We're in the middle of an ice storm that is melting. Emily is on her way over. I have about one hour of battery time. I hope the electric comes back soon.

It's so great to see our friends coming back to say hello and happy Christmas....John and Donna....yes we're still here and come back any time.

Happy Dec 24th!
I came to work an hour early today and I am leaving to get my hair cut at 11am. I haven't had it cut since before the cruise, so it really needs a trim. I love long hair, because I can be lazy :)

Marilyn - glad to hear you got the CSI Miami news you needed. I watched that season opener, because they really left everybody hanging. I hope your granddaughter is feeling better soon :goodvibes

Michelle - Its a mothers right to drive her daughter crazy occasionally. Mine does sometimes, and I know I will drive mine crazy (I'm sure sometimes I already drive Shaelyn crazy ;) )

Monica - I love White Christmas too! I think I'll watch sometime over the weekend. I always watch sometime in December, but just haven't gotten to it yet this year.

Holly - If your snow piles are too high, you have to push the top over to give yourself more room. Or get Tyler to climb the pile from the back, and pull it over. Last year I had the kids do that and they thought it was fun!

Deborah - enjoy your days off work! I plan to forget about work completely when I leave it here.

Time to get to work! Hi to everybody! the boards have been busy lately and its nice to have something to read!

I have to get back to work now!

I told her hi from you and she said she was just thinking about you! I wish we could all cruise together too, but I can't take Tyler out of school and a cruise just isn't in the budge next year. Maybe in 2010. :thumbsup2

Hi everyone. Just a quick pop in to wish all my fellow PC cruise mates

HAPPY HOLIDAY'S AND HAVE A JOYOUS NEW YEAR .

We went on an Alaskan cruise in August and it was a wonderful experience. Alaska was beautiful. It would be the coldest summer in a very, very long time. All was well, we dressed in layers and braved the elements.

We have 3 cruises booked next year. We don't know if we will go on all of them with this economy. It is a wait and see right now.
