HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I'm working tomorrow, but not sleeping yet. I was SHOVELING and then did my dishes. I'll clean tomorrow. Tyler can help me. I'll keep him up as late as I can so he hopefully won't wake me up at 4am like he did last year, yelling "MOM, SANTA CAME!" I'm going to try to remind him that if he wakes up and it's still DARK, don't get up, go back to sleep because Santa might not have come yet! It didn't work last year, but I can try again!

I just shoveled about 6 inches and it's still coming down heavily, so I'll probably have to shovel in the morning too. BUT.....you people out there who are used to lots of snow, I have a question. What do I do with my shovel full of snow when my piles I've been throwing it on are so high that it tumbles back down when I toss it? I was getting a bit frustrated.

2 of Tyler's presents have not yet arrived. Fingers crossed that they arrive tomorrow. One is very important, the other he won't miss.

Oh, I forgot to tell about something funny today. This was a conversation between me and Tyler on the way home from school:

Tyler: Mom, do you believe in Santa?
Me: Yeah, of course I do.
Tyler: Me too.
Me: Well, who else do you think would bring so many presents? I sure couldn't afford all the stuff he brings you, that's why I usually just get you a couple gifts.
Tyler: Yeah, I thought that too.

I think he bought it!

My family is in bed and I have no one to talk too, NOT......

My 5 nephews are out carousing (sp) and i can't stay up with them because we have to commando at AKL in the morning so that we can make our noon appt at the SPA.... I said SPA....

We all travelled ok, the baby got sick and barfed all over the plane (not my plane , it pays to book everyones flights huh, mean auntie here

our van to the airport had it's back door locked shut and my nephews had to rip the partion open...after the driver and everyone tried for an hour to get it unlocked. sad story, but we made it and our luggage came 5 hours after our flight, magical express for luggage it was not.

the hog thing is snorted as Molly went to sit on the verdana (is that what they call them on land) and I thought it was her

My mom is very happy, I think a bit bewildered by us all. I just wish my one other sister came, oh well, she missed the party.

Can't wait to see Monica on Xmas. What time are you going to come over???? We are talking about MK on Xmas morning. I know you said most likely not, but come on you know you want to play with

I have to get to bed, Molly is staying up she says she thinks there is a zebra, it looks like a zebra....she talks alot at night, wonder who she got that from

missing you guys a ton and wish you could be here and see how crazy my family really is...

We are spending this week with DrHug's sis and bil in Mission Viejo, CA. We have not been with her at Christmas for years! What a blessing this is for all of us. Her daughter and her fiance will join us tomorrow night, so 6 of us for dinner Christmas Day. I have two apple pies just coming out of the oven now and a pumpkin ready to go in. One apple for tonight and one for Christmas dinner. Yummer!

Mmmmm, pies. Have a great Christmas Angie and Dennis.

I FOUND IT! I found the cord to my phone! It's plugged in now and happily charging.

I started thinking I must have scooped it up with something else that plugged in, so I started checking everything I could think of that plugs in. I have a Homedics Shiatsu massaging chair insert, and it was stuffed in that box with it! Apparently when I was gathering that cord, I must have unknowingly grabbed my phone cord too.

What a relief!

Thanks - I did make them. I think this is the fourth year I've made our cards. I love Stampin Up stamps!!!

But your stamped cards are beautifully done. Not everybosy does them so well. It is lovely.

I am cooking on Christmas - though I guess "heating things up" might be a better description. And we are planning to see Valkyrie on Christmas too. That's it our plan for the four days. I have a feeling I'll be by here a lot

Nope........it is pay back time for when our daughters were14!!!

Is it special to go to breakfast or just on Christmas Eve?

Well it is special because it is expensive and we don't 'do' breakfast out over here usually. It is even more special as it is a great start to Christmas.

Our son and family had to cancel breakfast out as their eldest daughter is poorly. We have a flu epidemic just getting under way here, the worst for 8 years they say. Hopefully she will be a bit better by tomorrow and nobody else will succumb!!

Deborah, not much food left in M&S!!!

Anyway John and I still went, and had a really relaxed and tasty breakfast. We then ambled around town which was quite quiet really and finished the bits and bobs left to get.

Done the chores, just a little ironing to do, then we can relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope the day is going well for you all.

Hi everyone . . . sorry I have not checked in for quite awhile. I am glad to see you are still out here, keeping in touch.

Right after dad passed away, my brother came home, we had enormous challenges with his "bag", until finally he had surgery on December 3rd to re-connect his colon and digestive system. He is recovering well, and everything is working, but he had a huge incision, and is still in lots of pain. He is once again in a transitional care facility for physical therapy and healing. He will not be able to come home for Christmas.

We will be at WDW over MLK weekend and the following week. Once again, we REALLY need the vacation! (doesn't everyone?) Since our cruise, I have had only one week of vacation, and since Thanksgiving, I have only had two days off work - one of them being the day of his surgery.

I miss talking to you all, and hope you are all well and happy. We don't have everyone's address to send you all a card, so here is a virtual version of our Christmas Card.

John - Great to see you. Wishing you all the best in the coming year.

Well you both had a nice romance breakfast...

I cleaned the house this morning then went over my old house to change sheet for my brother (my parent in law bought our old house)...and they rent out and the logder is away now...

Now I am off to have a shower then busy tonight...

Glad that I am not working today woo hoo... as my work was telling me that huge staff shop tonight ... nah .. my fridge & freezer is full...
