I expected to come home to TONS of new postings, and what do I find bupkis.

Don't you people know that you are supposed to entertain me?

-----------------------------------

Today I called DVC and cancelled our January trip to WDW. So, I have points that were banked from last year, and my points that came around in August.

I now have more points than I know what to do with.

We are planning trips, we just need to be more emotionally ready, and until the dust settles on the bills, we just aren't in the right mental state.

Besides, Sukie things we should go when Cheri will have better weather in Chicago and can enjoy the city more.

Sure, he thinks about Cheri ... but does he think about me? Nooooo.

So, when is everyone planning trips to WDW? Now that our plans are up in the air, we're open to planning around meeting up with people.

Thanks,Sukie!! I`m glad to see that *SOMEONE* has their priorities in order! :>)

Not for me ... we cook. But I'd like to see what a menu would be look like for a week for someone who doesn't want to cook at all (other than heating things in a microwave).

This would make me look at WW again - I do most of my "cooking" by microwave :lmao:

Marilyn, you should feel privileged because I have never sent a Christmas card this early before  I haven't gotten the picture to send yet so I will just not send it to anyone and post it on here instead :goodvibes[/QUOTE

Oh, I do feel privileged- even more when I receive it!!!

V, looks like a fun place for dinner :thumbsup2 and enjoy the show :smokin: :rotfl2:

Today is Paul's bday, we are going to have dinner together at Buca d Bepo (sp) we have a ressie to sit in the kitchen, thought it would be fun :dance3: but dinner is at 8:30pm :scared1: that's ok on the cruise since we are 3+ hours ahead, but hard for us here since the kiddos will be starving...wish us luck:rolleyes1

Oh yeah, we got our small claims notice. Not bad, not good. We didn't have to refund the deposit to our deadbeat tenant, but he didn't have to pay for the rest of the damages either. Made me mad at first, but I'm over it now. Lesson learned send the letter upon tenant moving out with a huge estimate to CYA if necessary. Also, if we end up with a tenant that I don't like again, I'm not going to be nice and "let them stay" I'll just give them notice and be done with them when they start to make me concerned.[/QUOTE

Happy Birthday Paul.:cool1: Enjoy your meal out.

Sorry about the small claims result Nan.

Hey! Since you are on the DISBOARDS and Ann and Albert are just having fun, please tell them for me that I am working on Sunday at the Beach Club and I expect ALL of you you to pop by and say "HI"!

Love Connie:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Hi Connie. We can't pop to The Beach Club till a week Sunday I'm afraid. We are staying there then anbd I was certainly planning on saying hi!! We are out and about this Sunday looking at our villas we have booked for next year. Remember, our October one is close to you!!!!

We had a lovely hour with Ann and Albert yesterday. They are at Amelia Island at a 'friends home now.

Had a good day today. AK this morning. Managed Nemo musical which we love, Everest, kali River Rapids, Flights of Wonder, and a stroll around the lovely park. Bused over to Epcot and rode Test Track, then ambled over to International Gateway for the Merry Mixer, then back home for a while.

Last night we had a great window seat at the California Grill, and we could just sit there and watch the Christmas fireworks, and the castle all lit up. Ate too much though.

Something happened to the quoting system in my post above. I hope you can work it out!!!

This came as a many-times-forwarded e-mail. Cracked me up so I wanted to share!

We don't have any plans, other than some cozy long weekends.

Sukie likes New Year's Eve, while I personally don't. I find New Years Eve parties a bit depressing. Some years we had a few friends over, and some we've gone out clubbing (public transportion is free in Chicago from about 6:00 PM onward until about 4:00 AM in Chicago on New Years Eve).

Most recently we've been staying in. I think that's what we'll be doing again this year.

It'll be nice just to have some home and cozy time alone together for you and Sukie....two nice long weekends so you can do some reconnecting. Sounds perfect.

We don't have any plans either. Lately we do the same thing that you do.

Maybe we should crash in on Gaylean and Jon and help them celebrate their anniversary. I'll bring the bubbly!

thanks and thanks.

Your day sounds like great fun!!! I can't imagine that we will get that much done on our WDW trip being so close to the holiday, I figure the park will be totally crowded. Are the crowds bad now???

Congratulations! Doesn't that make you feel powerful.

I'm still tentative and not strong in my conviction yet with Tom in the house, all I'm feeling is relieved that I didn't blow it. Today is day three and I'm still doing the right thing. It's a little better and surprisingly a little easier than I thought it was going to be. So that's good.

Hi Deborah:

It is 4:35pm here. You are up late tonight ::yes:: Paul had his work party at lunch and I haven't heard from him all day, wondering how he is :rolleyes1 I'm thinking too much fun at work today

Dinner isn't until 8:30pm, so the kids and I are going to head to the mall for our Santa pictures. I have to go find something nice for Willie to wear. Molly is wearing her semi-formal dress from our cruise. It's green and black, cute :cutie: Willie just came out of the shower so I need to get him some dress up clothes, wish me luck :thumbsup2

Hang Tough Deb, three days is great just plan for one more one day at a time :thumbsup2

Deb, just skimming thru and it seems you have been having some struggles remaining a non smoker. My cell phone is the same and I am just a phone call away anytime! Hang in there, it does get ALOT easier.

Hi Angie, thank you. I will call. I didn't know the number was the same since leaving OR. It's good to know that it is and I can reach you. :worship:

I have a favor to ask :flower3:

Could one of you crafty types (Grumpy John, Ian, Monica (from the begging on that other thread perspective) ) create me a door sign for my mom for our NYE cruise????

Her name is JoAnne (we call her Grammie) and she isn't picky about characters, so whoever you think is cute and new years eve"y" would be nice

We are sailing on the Magic 12/27/08-1/3/09

Thanks!!!!!

John is working on it too Nan. I gave him all your details. Like you said, the more the merrier.

Hi Angie, thank you. I will call. I didn't know the number was the same since leaving OR. It's good to know that it is and I can reach you. :worship:

Hang in there, you are almost to that wonderful one year mark! Then it will be two years, then three.....eventually you will have to think and say, "um golly I have been a nonsmoker for 10 years now!"

We are at Valley of the Rogue State Park in southern OR tonight. We should be at DL by Dec 14! :woohoo: Family and friends to see along the way. Just got an email from friend we are seeing tomorrow and Sunday. They are excited, setting up the drums, gettig out the guitars and want to jam with DrHug.

My dad called tonight and asked if I would come pick him up at the mall and take him home. I agreed and Matt and I went to get him, it was a nice visit and he seemed normal. I only see his a few times a year as my mom is scared for me to go around him.

Well when we came home PJ was running around the house with a Chick-Fil-A cup on his head. I was laughing at him and he finally got it off. I told him to stop getting into things but he doesn't listen. He looked at me very upset and crying (he has a broken tear duct so it looks like hes crying sometimes). I felt bad but he still didn't learn he is into things again.

It's good that Matt was with you when you saw your dad. I'm sure that made it easier for you.

PJ sounds like a lot of fun....he's still just a kitty, give him time. :cutie:

Just got the news that Raizin passed away this morning, just before 7am.

Oh Monica, I'm sorry to hear this news. My thoughts are with you and Mickey and Will right now. Wishing you all strength and hoping you find peace.
