Me too but it is worse when it is under 60 degrees. Then I don't even want to get out of bed or my jammies.
I could be in bed all year...

I just talked to Tom....he's home now. He said he talked to a counselor and that they increased his anti-depressants and that he's doing fine. He said he learned a lot about himself and that he's not suicidal at all. He said he really wants to live here and get his old life back. He'll talk to Joe and Sandi and get back to us. One condition was that he get enrolled back in the votech school program. I said have mom check it out and he said that he would check it out. Good. He's showing initive and taking responsibility. He said that he was disrespectful to his mom and Joe and that he was sorry.
I guess Tom will be moving in with us in about 2 weeks. Life will change again. I think it will be a good thing for us also because John could use some help. Tom can do that.
Well, you'll have a Xmas surprise!!!
He needs you now Deb... Just give him the love he needs and he'll do great!!!

Did you ask for something???

Good Morning All Sentient Life Forms (and Nan).
So, is today really Thursday?
A bit of a problem. Somehow, my alarm clock broke and started going off at 3AM, so I'm a bit sleepy this morning.
I also, at 4AM ordered a new alarm clock. I have a Westclock Moonbeam alarm clock. It's a good old fashioned analog clock and instead of a bell or buzzer going off, a light starts to flash dimly and slowly and then after a few moments gets brighter and brighter and faster and faster in it's flashing. Then finally a few minutes later, if I haven't shut it off or hit the snooze a bell starts.
I find the flashing light a much gentler and much less jarring way to wake up. So, now I have to get a new one.
I also don't like digital clocks, not at least digital alarm clocks. They're evil.
The target of Sukie's column this week is someone at Disney. Apparently someone with Disney in California gave $5000 to the proposition 8 ad campaign.
By the way, I've been seeing some sales around on Blu-Ray DVD players ... so here is some unasked for buying advice. Be aware of some of these deceptive "deals."
The players on sale are the older "profile" players. The "profile" is the version of software or firmware. The older players are not easily upgradable to the new software and do not have hard drives. So, these sales are really a liquidation of outmoded stock. So ask questions before you buy. Not that any of you are going Hi-Def, but just some friendly advice anyway.
I have a sense that today is going to be a high pressure day.
For some bizarre reason, I check my work email last night (something almost never do) and I see that there is now an 11th hour crisis with the project from hell that I'm on that's going to throw a monkey wrench in the works. Now, with only 48 hours before we start our final march to production. Not looking forward to that, especially in light of the fact that I woke up so early and will be dead tired today.
Flashy alarm clocks don't work too well when one's head is plastered under a pillow...
