Deb, didn't you realize (sarcasm here) that they are special and you should make exceptions for them.

We had a call yesterday asking if it was ok to add someone to the wedding. Hello, the RSVP date was on the 7th. We are three days away. The reception is paid for.

OK it's way way worse to call and ask to be added to a wedding reception three days before the event. WHAT IS WRONG with these people??? Don't they get it??? Apparently not. They are not entitled like they believe they are. What's done is done in the planning and preparations for an event. There's no room for revisions. I just hope they try to plan something special one day and others do that to them so they can get a clue.

She's leeeaaavvviing on a Jet plane...

YES I am and I can tell you that I am NOT happy about flying. It's not what it used to be. I used to love travelling by plane, but not anymore. It's a nightmare these days. This time we have to change planes in Chicago. We're on Southwest into Orange County/John Wayne airport. We're getting picked up by a sedan at 3:00 am and we're driving to Philly. It will take about an hour and a half. Our flight leaves at 6:30 am. I'm not complaining about the hour because I only paid $640 for two RT tickets to Cali and back. It's worth it.

I am officially on vacation Sort of...I have a whole lot of work to get done at home My packing is definately not done. I've got "stuff" scattered all over the place Oh well, somehow I always manage to pull it all together. I'm thankful I don't have to go to work tomorrow.

Not to jinx it or anything.. but all of you cruisers.. don't forget the cold meds... you know that cabo crud tends to go around on longer cruises... or just drink rum... same difference...

When we upgraded to a Cat 3 for John's birthday on a 4 nighter....I had to sleep in the bathroom and switch from head to butt over the toilet. It only lasted 24 hours and then I was fine again. But I'll never forget it. It was horrible.....and I did it in concierge. haha.

No meds would have helped that situation. For the everyday, I don't feel good stuff .... I have meds for that.

Airborne works for me. Keeps everything away. Haven't been sick in a couple years. Brand new bottle bought and ready to go.

Sounds like we're all very prepared. YAY!

Ohhhhh......I'm so happy that you went and did it. Isn't it awesome. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Now remember, for very little time and money....you can have those done whenever you feel the need to get away. Keep it in mind.

I hope all you Hawaiian cruisers have a wonderful time. I imagine you will be leaving at various times now. I see Ann and Albert are on their way today. I can't tell you how sad I am that we had to cancel but I know I wouldn't have been well enough even if I had managed to get insurance.

Enjoy meeting up with all the old friends. I am so envious I have to say. Again, have a fantastic time.

Deb, I fill most of our bags and take SO much STUFF!!!! We spread everything round the suitcases in case of losing one so can't say actually how many cases I would fill, but it is almost all. I never wear everything, in fact I probably don't wear half the clothes I take, but still I have to take it.

Oh I know how you feel but your health come first, more important, and it will be long way to travel. I know not fair for insurance too. I feel sad and I am so envious too. I am sure they will have a fab times.

Still trying to find ways to avoid mowing my grass. We didn't get the snow we were supposed to get last night and this morning, and it didn't rain enough to make the grass too wet to mow. Now my excuse is that I'm worn out from swimming at the YMCA with Tyler. The neighbor kid who mows for me is getting back from a week long school field trip to Texas today, so I'm sure she'll be ready to earn some money since she probably used all of hers on the trip. Yeah, that's why I should let her mow.
