Also... Deb.. you may be able to get the clips and glue them on.. get good glue. check a craft shop. Also you may want to post on the creative board here on the dis to see if anyone has any suggestions..

& don't worry about Palo.. there were a lot of openings on the PC cruise cause it was a 2 week cruise... some even went more then once..

Shell, I already ordered the clips from the same place that I got the flowers. They were wholesale too. I saved a bundle of money, but I have to put them together.

They both have fabric....the flowers are chiffon fabric and the hair clips have ribbons.

75 ladies??? isn't that a bit too much??? have you checked with DCL to see if they have a limit? I'd say cap it soon. (unless I'm there, but I can always crash the party if needed... )

I was thinking about that. But I have done 50-60 and it worked out. It seems that everytime I do one, I have more and more people coming. I think it will stop at 75 and some won't come. So it will be closer to 60 actual.

I'm not sure if DCL has a cap. They probably do, but it hasn't been an issue yet. I'll find out if it is.

Shell, would krazy glue work on chiffon and ribbon? it works on skin......hahaha.

crazy glue is a pain.. especially when you glue your fingers together...

Go with fabric glue. Aileens is a good brand. You might be able to order it online. Especially if the clips have ribbon.. I will go look at it.

Just make sure you let everything dry VERY well before packing them up or anything... I suggest putting down paper or paper towels and then spread out white tissue paper so you don't get any kind of newsprint or anything on the clips...

Ok.. from the looks of the clips.. you will be gluing to the METAL... It looks like the ribbon will be on the bottom/back of the clip.

Let me see what you should use.

Also Deb... put waxed paper between the two parts of the clips so you don't end up gluing the clips together...

This sounds like a big job and it's getting messy and complicated.

Maybe I can use velcro????

Nope.. cause the adhesive on the velcro will stick through the hair clip... you might be able to use a spray adhesive with the velcro instead of the adhesive on the velcro strips... but I've never used it and I don't know how it would work.

However, I got the fabric today and once I make my dress there will not be as much extra as I had thought.
So
I will not advertise pet shirts too widely unless someone offers access to their extra fabric.

yeah.. glue and waxed paper.. fold the waxed paper in half so you can clip them to something a little heavier... and also use the waxed paper under it cause it shouldn't stick to that and plastic wrap would be a nightmare. Parchment Paper may work also.

120....you're crazy, but I know that you already did it coz I have two.

I had my passport picture taken today.....I didn't recognize that person. I remember the picture that's in there now and that person looked so much younger. Wow. I look just like my mother did when she aged. What happened?

YES, I have to renew my passport. My old one is dead for five months already. Nothing like waiting for the last minute.

I had to buy some clothes today since nothing that I own fits. I had to go higher up in size. Some of what I gained, I lost....but not all of it.

I'm thinking that part of it may be the new thyroid meds that I've been taking for the last six months. I have to get back to the blood suckers and get a blood test done to look at my levels again. I have the paperwork from the doctor, I just have to get there.

I have just two more non-DCL excursions to pay for and some car service and car rentals to work out and then my planning for this trip is done and I just have to start packing.

Usually I say that four months before cruising. Now it's only two months. That's what happens when your PIF date is later than everyone elses.
