We're back.....sort of......we're back on land. But we're still in Cali. We decided to fly home a day later to make it easier and keep the price of the plane ticket low. So we're honkered down in a hotel in santa ana right at the Orange County airport. We ended up not renting a car and going to San Diego like we had wanted to do. We got delayed getting off the boat, then we got delayed getting picked up by our car service. It was too late in the day to start the ride to San Diego by the time we got to Santa Ana. So we just took the hotel room and chilled.I slept while John watched TV. Now I'm awake and John is sleeping. We have a long day tomorrow flying home and losing more time.

Karl, thanks so much for the bubbly. We opened it at the dinner table one night and I loved it. It was superb. I'm so glad we got to see you and some of the thieves for dinner before we left. It really meant a lot to me that you all came.

Yup, I'm still rockin to the motion of the ocean....and missing friends.....and paradise.....and dcl services. It was an awesome trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We flew home the day we disembarked. Flights were uneventful which is always a good thing. We got to the condo about 11 pm Eastern time. Read mail and to sleep about 2 am having been up over 21 hours.

Tuesday we slept until nearly 10. Tom went in to work and did not get home until 10 pm due to a meeting out of town. I saw two clients and got groceries.

Suitcases are put away. I lost count of how many loads of laundry I have done.

I am surprised at how relaxed I am. I did not want to come back AT ALL knowing some of my stresses would resume promptly--and they did--but I feel much more mellow when dealing with them than I did before. I guess that is the measure of a good vacation.

I love little Maui....what I named her....and I got so many complements about her. She is very special, as are you. I'm very greatful.

I'll miss not seeing you and Tom out and about everywhere I go. At least we have the Dis and FB to stay in touch....and other cruises to look forward to.

Can we rewind the clock a few days so that I'm back on the ship??? Don't really want to be home.

Had a great time...I loved seeing my pals everyday! I slept SO well....Cheri & I are def matched as roommates I've posted pictures on Facebook & will work on getting some on here so that Kathe can see them.

Still have not finished unpacking....that and , as well as catching up on is on tap for this weekend.

Hi friends.....I have to say that Hawaii is on the top of my all time favorite cruises. PC next, Southern Caribbean, then Tortolla. Onto number 15 next....September going to Canada from NYC. I won't even unpack my suitcase for that one since it's only 5 days. But I'll be on the Magic in 5122. Nana and Cork will be onboard too. It's good to have some Thieves with us.

Since being home, I'm off the vacation meds and back on the regular routine. So of course, I've been sleeping a lot. I'm trying to catch up to being back to normal and I'm getting used to gaining/losing so many hours and time changes. John is taking a while to adjust too. He went to work on Thursday with about 2 hours of sleep. He barked at everyone so they left him alone. hahaha. Thank goodness he only had one more day this week. YAY for Friday!!!

They were actually a big hit. I thought they would never wear them again, but they liked them. I found them online. I'll send you a link when I get my laptop back. I'm on the netbook. John is doing a system restore on my laptop. It could take a while.
