So as it turns out Tom and Kris' jobs were only temp jobs. They came home early yesterday because the project was finished. Back to looking for real work next week.

In the meantime, Tom had been planning to go to Pittsburgh this weekend to see Tiffany, his girlfriend. So now he just left earlier today instead of after work today. He'll be home Sunday night. It's good because it gives him and Kris a break. They are such different people....personality wise. Also, Tom clinically has manic depression and Kris has ADHD. So one of them constantly needs reassuring and the other one constantly needs reminding. It's fun with such different issues and personalities. Despite their conflicts they are both very tight and love each other very much. They're always together.

Crap - that sucks! Here's to them finding something else quickly. Did they go through a temp agency that will contact them when something else opens up?

No rush Mon, I have plenty of time. I won't be making my first payment until next week and I'm not going to the hotel until the November Jackie birthday cruise. Ya know, now that it's here I'm so sad that I'm not on it. But alas, I just can't do them all....not enough time or money. I need to ask Jackie how it is that she is able to manage the time and money and do them all....??? In my next life, I want to be Jackie if I can't be Woody. hahaha. I just want to live in 5122 on the Magic. That's all, not asking for much.

Still wishing I could be there too....we just need to remember that we'll be back on a ship in April

Yes, they went through an agency so hopefully they will get called again.

John's son, the kid, has been diagnosed with manic depression and he is also Bipolar. John is just depressed and I'm an optimist. We all get along just fine, although I wonder how....hahaha.

Kris and Tom and the kid all used to be on meds. Now they all don't say that they don't like how they feel on their meds so they would rather not take them.

I'm glad your med cocktail is working and I'm glad you're taking them. I will call when I get frustrated and need to vent. Thanks for being there.

If I'm lucky I will be. I didn't realize that final payment was Dec 1st. EEK!!!! I haven't even started paying it off yet and my bill for this one is pretty hefty. I thought I at least had until 12/31 or maybe even 2/14. I'm just getting started and I only have less than two months to pay in full. This one is going to take some doing. I'll be working on it. I'm going no matter what. I just have to figure it out.

update on FB from Angie...

We were able to be home for our 44th anniversary yesterday. The very wonderful ladies at church brought dinner for us last evening. Dennis is very tired, probably due to the atrial fib, which will hopefully reslove soon. We have lots of appts coming up, beginning with his first coumadin clinic appt today. Then cardiac rehab and checkups with primary care, surgeons, etc. I am tired, but oh so happy to be home. Thank you all for the prayers, we have no doubt that God heard us all.

A Monica/Kaz friend that I met on the Dream who's name is Claire hosted a Champagne Girls tasting on the WBTA in September. Here's some pics of the event.

It looks like they had lots of fun. I just can't believe how many Champagne Girls events have taken place since our first one. Look what we have started!!!

So freaking worn out. My co-worker Jan has been on the Magic this past week, so I was working for 2, which is absolutely impossible. It's definitely not a one person job. BUT, I'm grateful I still have a job for now, so I'm NOT complaining, just worn out. Boss was crabby because of how behind I am. Jan won't be back until Tuesday, so I have one more day of being buried. Then Tyler and I had lots of running around, as usual, all week, and trying to sell popcorn. It's harder this time because although he's been the top seller the last 3 years at about $600 each year, one kid has $1100 in sales already, so Tyler is scrambling frantically. He's up to about $420 as of today.

BUT, he's at a sleepover tonight, so I finally get to sit and relax!

The PIF date under the newest policy is 120 days for cruises of over 7 (or is it 10?) days, which would be 12/30/11. I keep meaning to ask Monica what she's heard about this, since I've only seen it from one source on the Hawaii thread. And I never remember to call DCL while they are open (AND you never know if you are getting a CM who knows what's really going on).

Don't know...everyone should be contacting DCL.

For some reason I never got the emails. But I looked back on your profile page on FB and found where you posted the original link. I bookmarked it and I'll be placing my order this Friday on payday.
