What a week I'm having...

first off... Wednesday is my birthday... and I'm SOOOO not into it this year...

Michael's VM cleared today so that means he at least is alive... until I get my hands on him...

& now I got a message from my friend Amy... My Beanie Baby (Bean) is not doing well... Ok... so he's Amy's cat... but I've been taking care of him since she moved in next to me and he came to live with me for a while when Amy was getting married... He's been sick for the last couple of weeks and his lungs have had to be cleared a couple of times now. She doesn't know if he will last the night. We are praying lots... First Reilly, and now Beaner...

He's one of Amy's pics of him... Amy literally moved in and gave me the key and asked if I could take care of her two cats... I couldn't remember their names (it was so fast...) so I called her other cat (Boo) Sunshine and Beaner Sweetheart because the spot on his front was bigger than Boos...

Hi everyone

It's going to be a beautiful day here today! Michelle, you should be having a nice weather day for your birthday too, I think? Right now I've got all the windows open and the air is so nice and fresh. It is going to be very sunny and a high of 26C this afternoon I've got a busy day today. I'm taking the car in shortly for an oil change, then shopping for a friend's 50th birthday, getting my hair cut and going to see The Help later in the day. I have a few other errands to run too. I had Serenity for two sleep overs and both of my days off last week so didn't get much done, but had fun of course

Mom and I went up to the track today for the afternoon!!! Beautiful weather... the place was packed!!!

On the last race I won $7.50 on a horse one of the friendies told me to bet on...

For dinner we ate Planky's 2nd cousin twice removed.. (Lobster...) Planky has decided that he's moving out (until he gets to the end of the driveway and decides he's hungry and turns back...)

Carvel cake... we're saving for tomorrow. Mom wants to see if Joyce, our neighbor wants to join us. . besides.. I'm too full from today... so it will be nice to have tomorrow.

Then we'll be doing Carvel ice cream cake together tomorrow. It's the kid's 39th birthday. It will be quiet around here....just me and John and the kid. Tom went to Phili for a week to work in a food truck at some big fair. It's been a quiet week and I've been catching up on some sleep. I have to save up my energy for Friday. Ray has a follow up eye doctor appointment in the doctor's office. At least it's not in the surgery center. The only down side is that Tom is not here so I'm on my own with Ray. It's not going to be pleasant, but I'll get it done. At worst, I could always ask the kid to take a day off and help me. John can't because he called in sick last Friday so he can't do that two weeks in a row. I'll decide tomorrow.

So.....I just bought plane tickets today for Kristopher. He will be here on Sept 6th. He's moving in too. Odd how the boys have managed to make it back here to where they remember their childhood. I feel like we have come full circle.
