Today is a much better day. I went and got pampered instead of getting pained. I got my hair and eyebrows done. Called my doctor early this morning and said cancel everything Dr. Mertz scheduled me for because I'm not doing any of it. I will call to see Dr. Beckett when I return from vaca. For now, just renew my antibiotic. I feel so much better and it frees me up this week to get everything done that I need to.....once I get off the computer.....hahaha.

A close friend of mine had surgery yesterday morning and is at home this afternoon feeling sore and tired but is okay

I went for a walk this morning with Sara, then packed my suitcases. I have 2 large suitcases packed Just couldn't figure out how to pack 3 weeks of stuff into anything smaller It is was it is

It snowed here yesterday, and we are supposed to get rain, or freezing rain, or snow tomorrrow. Not a nice spring I'm planning on another walk tomorrow morning, but we'll have to wait and see. Serenity is coming over tomorrow afternoon for a visit I'm going to miss her when I'm away!

Ken - Hope you get through the next few days. That's a drag having to work on your vacation, but I know how that goes.

I look at it this way. It could be worse. I could have to work in my office instead of on the Wonder. This way my office, for a few hours, will be in the Lounge. rough.

I sent an extract of my posting here about my recent cruise on the Wonder and it somehow being "off" to DCL. It was not meant to be a complaint but an observation about their brand being off, a cruise with Disney theming rather than a Disney cruise, etc.

I heard back from them. Nice note, but nothing significant enough to pass on.

I'm hoping those sailing soon on the Wonder benefit.

Hope all those that sail in 1 week are getting themselves ready. I have started my pile of things to take.

I have 3 sets of binoculars that I will be bringing w/ me (I'll share).

Spoke w/ my parents last night...they're trying to figure out what they're doing for their next trip...talking about Scotland, but have some health things to deal with first, and they don't know how long that will take (dentist, routine tests, nothing bad).

My cousin said he'd give me air miles, so I may go down to see them in September. I haven't been in Argentina since 2009 (or was it 2007?)

There have been a few complaint emails/letters been sent from fellow Jan PC cruisers who are also on the Hawaii cruise, who had less than good experiences on the Wonder PC. They don't want a repeat on the Hawaii cruise so it has spurred them into action. Worries that by then of course the Fantasy will have taken some well trained(by then) crew to move to her.

Hi Monica. Sorry, I went off to watch TV!!

We are having wonderful weather right now. It is spoiling us all as it could snow next week of course!

John's ear is just about completely healed and he can sleep on that side now. I'm not too bad thanks. Had a change in pain meds today so we will see if that makes a difference.

Hope you hear soon about your new job.
