I went to the wound doctor yesterday because I cancelled on Wednesday. My doctor, Dr. Beckett, was not in so I had to see Dr. Mertz. He's the one that did the surgery on my leg, but I never saw him in the office. He has a whole different plan of action from Dr. Beckett. He wants to get the infection cleaned up for my vacation so he's attacking it aggressively. LOTS OF PAIN. I like Dr. Beckett better. It's slow and steady, but we do get rid of it at a minimal amount of pain. This is going to be hell-o week for me. I have to drive myself, no drugs and had to rent a car for the week, to physical therapy everyday this week. I just went this morning. Dr. Mertz told me that I had to soak in a whilrpool and that's all. That's not all. After I soaked, they scrubbed and poked at the leg causing me immense pain. I didn't bargain for that.....especially that I have to do it again everyday this week without pain meds. OMG that's torture.

Then Dr. Mertz wants me to go back to the hospital and have another biopsy done and he wants to take me off Bactrim, my antibiotic. He's very aggressive and doing the exact opposite of what Dr. Beckett does. I think I need to call the office on Monday and speak with Dr. Beckett. I'm questioning whether I want to spend the entire week exhausted and in extreme pain, when I need to be packing and getting ready to leave. Dr. Mertz is the last thing I need right now.

No, not going N, S, W or East this Spring. We are at home till September. We are enjoying our time at home relaxing, but John will be working next week, and then for 3 weeks June/July and some other times in the summer. Earning his pension!!!!!

Just a little...

They got over 6 feet of snow total this year... the ice isn't even off the lake yet... I imagine it's jamming which is why it's rising...

those little bumps in the water are the rocks the kids play on...

And geee... one of the people that nobody likes and sued everyone over every little thing is trying to sell the house this year which I imagine by now is in the middle of all of that water... Pays to be uphill I guess...

Ok everyone... it's safe to say it's a good bet to stay out of my pretty little face today... I just told off someone on the phone from one of my credit card companies who wanted to charge me a late fee when I wasn't late...

I got so insistent (and mad...) that even the QM left the room...

& I'm not even PMS'ing...

Since I have to go everyday, no one can take off the whole week from work to drive me. I have to drive myself.....so no pain meds.
