I don't think this day can possibly get any more boring. I've been here for almost 4 hours with absolutely no work. Thank goodness Mr. Energizer Bunny comes back to work this afternoon sometime.

I'm in a quandry...

One of my old friends wants to be friends on FB... we used to be best friends and I have to admit... that the reason we arent' "best" friends anymore is confusing... part of it is that I am friends with her ex boyfriend... and the other reason is that when they were together... she played games - lies and other sneaky things not only on him... but me too....

I was part of her family for over 30 years. Alot of that changed when we all went through some tough financial decisions... (she made them worse...) and also she got the daughter in law from hell... who made everyone's life a living hell..

One of the reasons we moved was that I needed to get away from alot of politics in Jersey... my brothers (who I do love...) and also all the problems with her family... nothing ever changed and their favorite thing was to complain about how horrible their life had become and not doing anything to change the situation.

I decided that I couldn't take care of my problems while being involved with hers...

Sounds like I should just walk away.. and to a point I have....

She doesn't know I've moved on with her ex... (distance does help...) It was WAY over with them for years so I wasn't involved in the breakup or anything...

IF I let her in on FB.. she keeps asking... and until now.. I've told her I use it for keeping in touch with you guys... and my kids...

AND... if I do let her in... I will not be able to post pictures anymore - I know I could block her... and I probably wouldn't be as free with somethings to say with her on there...

I do know that very soon she is going to find out about what I've been doing - yeah... I know... behind her back... and I have to be prepared for the you know what to hit the fan... but in the end... because of what I did financially she will be totally settled for good. I did what I did to benefit everyone. & I couldn't do it with her playing games and/or bugging me all the time about it.

So... I'm stuck...

Michelle I really don't know. Is there any reason why you would want to be 'friends' with her? Would you like to build up a friendship again? If it is going to cause more problems for you than happiness, then I would say hang off for a while longer.

No... I can't see letting it grow again. The best way I could describe the situation is Toxic... and when she finds out I went with Michael (even with work...) I'm gonna be the one to blame even if it gets everyone back to where they were.

I guess I'm afraid of the time when the world blows up on me.. and it will... I was just hoping to be in a better place before it happened.

I think I'll just ignore it for now and say I didn't see the request... that does happen.. FB being wacky...

You're right... it's going to have to be censoring myself and I don't want to do that...

I haven't ended any friendships with her... but I really don't want her involved as much in my life anymore. I had to move on for me...

As it is... I will have to block her son... who I get along with (but who is married to the crappy DIL...) because if I do start to travel again then she's gonna know where I might be going with Michael. and it will come back to me because she will say it should have been her... and it could have been if she hadn't screwed it up so badly...

Michelle, that's really not somebody you need in your life. To be mentally/emotionally healthy, we all need to surround ourselves with people who make us happy, people who care about us and don't cause drama and stress. Life is too short to have people like that in your life. You should be around people who like you for who you are, not people you have to censor yourself around. Just my two cents. For your sanity and well being, please avoid her. If she asks, maybe you can tell her you've just drifted apart over the years or something like that.

I'm glad I asked everyone... It's hard here because everyone in my family and most of my friends knows her.

It's been a good thing getting away from all the personal politics down there... (Jersey...)



I went out to the store earlier... got our supplies for the storm... I've emailed Jay about doing the driveway... and yet again... we've put off mom's eye Dr. appt. I don't think God wants her to take care of it this winter...

Just talked to my sister about Mark's wedding... it's still up in the air... possible Aug 6th.. but they don't have jobs or anything so she's afraid that they're thinking wedding and not marriage...

So... we'll see... I was hoping to be at the lake this summer...

I talked ot Hilaryone who is doing the FE for the Repo only, is anyone in charge for Alaska? I am curious because im making something and have NO idea how many FEs I need to cover. If no one knows maybe we can do a Mickey Mouse roll call of whose going to have a FE so I know?

Heather, I don't know the answer to your question, but surely somebody does. I don't want to participate in the "official" threads, just this one. There's just not enough time to meet everybody, so I really hope to just spend time with the people here who I didn't get to see much or even meet on the PC cruise.

I will be MIA for most of the week this week, & next.

I worked 830a-9p last night, working 9a-9p tonight, & who knows what tomorrow & Friday.

Saturday I start monitoring flights for the 1800 (or so) people that are flying into Orlando for that big meeting. I'm working 9a-7p on Saturday, 8a-8p on Sunday, then am onsite at the meeting until about 5pm next Saturday. The 13th is my next day off.

I will not have access to anything while I'm sitting at the meeting. Need to see if I can get my laptop up & running so that I can play once I get back into my room (if I have any energy).

Hope all is well. Working on getting my pics onto Snapfish, then onto FB & here from the MV.

That cruise was wonderful....loved spending time w/ my friends
