Mom is now complaining... that since I'm not online much anymore I come down and spend time with her watching TV... I get the odd feeling she'd like to tell me to get lost and go back upstairs!!!!

Just a morning 'drive by' on the DIS for me. STILL don't have all our systems operational at work, and now fighting a cold...a fight I will win!

Hi Kathe!

Mom & Dad leave today - glad & sad at the same time. My sister & I both agree that Mom is looking very frail now, so of course we worry. This visit has been better than expected, but still with heated moments.

I introduced them to Sweet Tomatoes last night - I think this may become a "standard".

I'm taking a possible long lunch today to take them to the airport. Looking forward to having my own space again. It's stressfull to share

most of them I wouldn't invite to my house for dinner , but then again... anyway...

the QM is doing well... her final concert is tomorrow. I have to go but I also have to be in Glenville to get my hair cut at the same time. May be I can go to one for a little while and then the other. So confusing...

I MUST color my hair tonight. I'd hate to get to Kim's and have her see my "Skunk stripe"... as I call it...

I know the feeling. At the moment John is around all the time. Can't watch what i like, do what I like, when I like etc!!!! He is just .........there!!!!


Of course I love him and want him around but....... Give me some ME time.

Exactly!! We leave Tuesday late night. I keep looking at the suitcases from October and saying yeah, I gotta repack some of those. I gotta do it soon. I can't believe I'm so far behind in getting it done. It's unpacking, laundry and repacking and I'm just not up for it. Fortunately, I got some new clothes for the cold weather. So I'll probably pack some of those....no need to do laundry.

Thank you Marilyn, yes it's a lovely day. I woke up to cards and I have to wait until John gets home to have cake and presents. The cake is ice cream....Fuggy the Whale....from Carvel ice cream store. YUM! The presents are lots of Tinker Bell things....I bought them, they were delivered to the house and I gave John the boxes to open and wrap. So I haven't seen anything yet. I'm excited.

Just got off the phone with DCL concierge. They have changed their policy and we can now book additional guests into the cabana for $50 per person.

Just to clarify, 6 guests are included in the price of the cabana. The additional charge is for any additional guests.

I spoke with concierge services about the adding of more people. He said the maximum would be 8 so that isn't bad at all. Happy to see they are addressing this concern.


They also mentioned that you'll be able to book them online soon. That's when they're going to sell out fast.
