Today we're going to upstate NY in the Binghamton area....just over the PA border for us. We're visiting with my baby cousin Jeff and his wife Amy who just had a little Jeff three months ago. Amy's birthday is the 17th and mine is the 18th so we're going to celebrate in addition to seeing the little one. It should be lots of fun.

Just a quick drive by at the library... I'm beginning to think I should start reading more...

TANGLED was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! (especially in 3D!!!) It sort of reminded me a little of Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid... Alan Menken did the music... not a lag time at all in the story.


Pretty quiet otherwise here...

Mom and I ordered our tickets to see Lion King at Proctors on March 2nd. My neighbor got up at the crack of dawn and stood in line for over 2 hours in the cold at Proctors to get HER seats... I did it in about 10 minutes here online. But Joyce is stubborn and insisted that that was the only way to do it... so.......

Oh and I ordered Will's copy of Epic Mickey for the Wii... it's his bday gift this year...

Hi everyone!

I survived the weekend w/ my parents I picked them up Thursday night, then Friday night after work we drove down to St Petersburg to see friends of theirs (Mom met them and my father the same day...they had planned the picnic that Mom was invited to). Good visit-good food. They spent the night there, while I went across the street to stay with their daughter & son-in-law (both that I've know for years & get along well with). Stayed up until 130a chatting & laughing. Went to another friends' house Saturday afternoon, and I spent the time sitting on their balcony staring at the water (gulf side, right on the beach) while they visited.

I ended up getting sick (started Thursday night) & actually lost my voice on Saturday. Sinuses still giving me a hard time today.

We had lunch with Will & Mickey Sunday (Mom had not met them before, Dad had) then looked at my PC albums & pics from their recent trip to Italy & Spain.

Today, they have my car & will be going to the library, Walmart & who knows where else before they pick me up at 6p.

Reception Thursday night was good....Mom went a bit overboard with her reaction (about my weightloss) and said she barely recognized me & while Dad didn't say anything, when we were talking about them eating something for dinner (restaurant or home), he did ask if there was anything I could eat if we stopped somewhere.

They're here until Wednesday - I must say that so far, this visit has been 1 of the better ones we've had.

She is walking and climbing everywhere. Got to the top of the bunk bed. She just wants to be one of the boys...

Final payment is tomorrow, so if you are interested, keep checking as a couple of rooms have popped up and disappeared over the last 24 hours.

Hi Lisa. Bubba and I, Nan, Jon and Gaylean are doing the 2 day for my birthday. My birthday is the day we sail, Friday, so planning on partying the night away. It would be cool if you could get on. I know some cabins will open up with final payment due tomorrow. We could recreate the big mothers day bash from the panama sailing. Now that was a fun night.

I found out the restaurant on the water does have its private room available the day the ship is in. Is the group planning on going to the new Walt Disney Museum in SF? Let me know if I can help plan anything!

Yep, several of us have talked about that. My guess is we'll get our 'stuff' together after the holidays (or at least after Thanksgiving).



Just a morning 'drive by' on the DIS for me. STILL don't have all our systems operational at work, and now fighting a cold...a fight I will win!

Mom & Dad leave today - glad & sad at the same time. My sister & I both agree that Mom is looking very frail now, so of course we worry. This visit has been better than expected, but still with heated moments.

I introduced them to Sweet Tomatoes last night - I think this may become a "standard".

I'm taking a possible long lunch today to take them to the airport. Looking forward to having my own space again. It's stressfull to share
